It was on punk'd, if you don't know what it is its basically a show where they'd play pranks on celebrities. Like they'd go into a make up barber session and the famous person would be asked to sit down and wait and then see their barber cut someone else's hair and make a complete mess of things. You'd see their reactions to everyhing and how gauge how they'd handle the situation. Most of the time they just can't deal with the situation and its really funny. Then when things was just about to get "real" Aston Kutcher came on and told them they'd been punk'd

Well with Braff, they basically tricked him into thinking that a kid, around 14 perhaps, had basically gotten a stone and just scratched the ever living fuck out of his car. Braff was at all awkward about this and just made the kid know that he was literally seconds away from being punched in the face repeatedly by a grown man. Only reason he didn't might be because someone stopped him. But yeah, the guy was legit fucking angry and about to revenge his paint job.
