That was a damn good episode, can't help but feel it was written by an SCP fan though.

Feel like they kind of got confused on where they wanted to go with the show after Jeff went to space. Kind of felt like the episode of Family Guy where Brian dies, and it was supposed to be the end.
Also with Family Guy oddly enough, character progression and somewhat cemented changes happened with all the characters. As well as a clear shift on what they like to do with the side-gags and characters. While AD just kind of recycled a lot of story gimmicks for the characters and lingered.
Though AD is still the better show.

I like that the characters stay serious no matter how stupid the situations get instead of getting all sarcastic and fourth wall breaking just to get the eye rolling chuckle like Family Guy. It offers a lot more potential and diversity for gags.
