can we all agree this is a terrible interpretation of the character and the biggest waste of potential in the mcu. They were better off keeping Ty Simpkins and having him grow into Iron Lad.

Both of his solo films contradict his past appearances and remove things that are central to the character.

The worst part of the mcu Spider-Man is that nothing he does has any consequences. His two lives don't overlap at all. He can do whatever he wants/is necessary but there are rarely any repurcussions especially in his personal life.

Even worse is that when there are consequences they are so shallow and unimportant that they might as well not have been their since they don't impact the character at all. Like when he ditched Liz at the dance. We supposed to believe he made this big decision leaving her to fight vulture but the movie doesn't care. Not a single character calls out Peter, the supposed LOSER NERD, for ditching the Stacey of the school in front of everyone.

>nothing he does has any consequences
Did you watch the movie

Which one? Shit (Far From Home)? Or Dog shit with the cum on it (Homecoming)?

I for one appreciate that MJ is now played by a woman of color as she was meant to be right from the start.

It sucks we haven't had a prominent gay character yet. Ned should have got with Flash not betty.

It's actually surprising that there are no gay characters in the new Spidey or maybe I just don't notice them. There was that one joke in the first movie but it didn't go anywhere.

No, you can go wank over spiderverse or some shit. FFH is fucking spider-kino and I’m sick of whining fags talking shit about it.

None of them have, they just parrot the same debunked talking points. That’s why I think it’s 3 people making these hate threads over and over.

...

Absolute bullshit. Liz herself called him out for ditching her at the dance and of course he doesn’t get the girl in the end.

Yes I watched both and my point still stands. The only thing with repurcussions is him giving the glasses to Beck. The reason I didn't mention that is because itis beyond retarded that any sane person would give them to a man they have spoken to TWICE. Another reason is that there are no lasting consequnces. He fights across Europe but isn't arrested for breking the Accords, He gave a way Tony's last gift but doesn't havent them permenantly removed from him by Any sane adult.

His identity reveal was not a direct result of losing the glasses so that doesn't count either.

What do you mean? I literally do not understand your post? Spider-man? Mary Jane? Both?

Also saying "Ty should become Iron Boy" is so uninsured I hope it never happens. But you're not the first person to proffer the idea, so I know it's a real possibility. The actor is handsome as hell, I want him to be something better than "Tony Stark 2."

But what do I know about the 80 year backlog of Marvel titles where you could reasonably pick a title and character and slap him into it.

No, who the fuck here watches superhero movies? Those movies are for fucking toddlers kiddo. You gotta go back man, you gotta be 18+ to post here. I think Fortnite is where you wanna be. Fucking immature prick, go play with your fucking avengers lego set.

There was a trans actor playing a classmate but he was just shoved to the background

>Liz calls him out
Huh? She tells him she is leaving and says whatever he has going on in his life she hopes he gets it sorted. The fact the he had no reason to care about her beyond her being hot doesnt help either

I assume both, I liked them personally

Ty already had a connection to Tony since childhood and he helped save his life so it makes more sense for Tony to choose him as a protege than a kid he found on the internet and has known for a year

Tom Holland and Ty Simpkins are relentlessly handsome. I want to kiss them relentlessly.
