Her water bending has proven to be weaker than Aang’s and she is only his master because she has shown greater discipline and form control. Zuko saved her life, so no, it’s not robbing him of his victory. And she has serious character flaws, including jealousy and a need to take charge. She is far from a Mary Sue.
