The Cassidy stuff was pretty good. I feel like that probably would have been a full episode of its own if they hadn’t gotten cancelled though.

That was a cool flashback and the angel finally talking is nice but this pity party Cassidy is going through is still overstaying its welcome, though I guess that's to be expected with this show.

Ok, that hallway fight scene with furries and clowns getting yeeted everywhere and flying dildos was pretty kino.

Preacher’s fight scenes are always shot really nice but with terrible choreography.

His use of it is pretty inconsistent. Sometimes, he just likes to beat the shit out of people.

Best part of the episode so far is that they showed a commercial for The Righteous Gemstones during it. Can’t wait for more Danny McBride HBO kino after Eastbound and Vice Principals.

So, I loved the comics, thought s1 was ok, but for some reason dropped out in s2 & never caught back up.
Is it worth it to? Only thing that really pissed me off was how they just had to make arseface an incel, for some fucking reason.

It doesn’t really get any better or worse, it stays about the same as when you dropped it. Has some great individual scenes, but with a lot of meandering filler connecting them.

Season 1 was so fucking good... and then it went to complete shit tier show after that.

They wanted to do the comic’s road trip thing, but did not actually have the budget to do it so they had to keep coming up with excuses to keep them cooped up in an apartment for half a season at a time.

They turned Cas into such a pussy after S1

Huge fan of the comics as well. Treat season 1 as an unofficial prequel. Treat the following seasons as not even the loosest adaptation of the comics, treat it as an entirely new set of adventures featuring the characters from the comic series.

Season 3 was much better than 2. I'm convinced Season 2 was just Seth Rogen and company getting an all expense paid trip to New Orleans out of AMC, getting really fucked up, and occasionally remembering that they were supposed to be filming something.

It has a good action scene, some decent Cassidy backstory, and some funny moments with the Saint, Arseface, and Hitler. I’ll take that after those first two episodes with nothing good whatsoever.
