I find serial killers that murder in basic/stupid ways boring no matter how "interesting" their backstory or personality is. Son of Sam literally just shot people in cars- boring as fuck. Richard Ramirez broke into houses without any process and was always gonna get caught. Now The Golden state killer? Putting plates on his victims backs while he's in another room so that if they move he can hear them? That is pure Kino

Nah. just good casting and makeup. If they were spending the cash on CGI, they would have made his mouth and chin more pointed. But they did a damn good job. Berkowitz was always extremely creepy looking.

Be curious to see what they do with this, I dug into Berkowitz for a while, after reading "The Ultimate Evil", by Maury Terry, who made the case that the Son Of Sam murders were tied to Manson, and that they were both doing them for The Process. Manson is absolutely tied to the Process, even Bugliosi said he was hanging around with Process members before the Family was formed.

I doubt they'll go there, but still...

Try and find "The Ultimate Evil" by Maury Terry. The bulk of the book is covering the media coverage of the case, and a pretty fair coverage of Berkowitz's life, aside from him later in the book trying to tie Berkowitz to a satanic cult (still undecided if he was onto something)
The official story is he was insane. But in his insanity...there's some odd stuff, even for a crazy dude.
