Why do annoying hipsters like this boring trash?
Why do annoying hipsters like this boring trash?
Is this Jackie Brown? If so, because Pam Grier used to be hot and energetic when she acted, also Bridget Fonda got realistically cummed in. That’s all this movie had.
because it was Tarantino's least liked movie for a while so Hipsters/contrarians started saying it was their favorite, and now Death Proof has replaced it as the favorite of contrarian hipsters
this
It has good and distinct characters instead of Tarantino's usual caricatures and is well paced and developed. It also doesn't end in epic exploitation carnage like most of his films so it's refreshing. It's restrained and that's what makes it so funny. Also De Niro is great.
it's a movie with an actual plot that makes sense unlike all of his other randumb shit
I got bored during the opening credits. It fucking sucks
It's a meme, nothing else. Bunch of anons were afraid to admit they like Tarantino, so they chose one he didn't write and jerk off to it till death for good boy points from elitist here. Of course that was back in the day, it seem Yea Forums hivemind is starting to like Tarantino again.
Because it's an actually good movie and isn't Tarantino jerking himself off over how much he knows about films. Tarantino is much better when he's not being himself.
It's the plot is kind of complicated from what I remember, hence pleb filter
It honestly wasn't bad. Not QTs best work, but I'll take it over TH8. Fuck that movie.
Because contrarians will always adopt an unpopular opinion to appear like they're thinking for themselves when in actual fact the they're doing the exact opposite
Too bad I will spend my whole life without having watched this movie because that face looks ugly and mean. Please cast beautiful women, is that too much to ask.
Pulp Fiction is his most boring movie. Jackie Brown was alright but the bittersweet ending elevates it to being kino.
Inglorious Basterds is his best movie.
Pam Grier is like 50 or 60s in this. She was hot in the 70s.
It's as close as Tarantino got to making a movie that was filmed like it was from the 1970s
it realistically portrays female nature
It was his last good movie before he went batshit with revenge gook shit and bastardized history.
Cause most adaptations of Elmore Leonard
are good/enjoyable.
We got this and Out of Sight with Michael Keaton playing Ray Nicolette in both films.
PF > IB > JB > OUATIH > H8 > KB > RD > DU > DP
if you think Jackie Brown is boring you should stick to capeshit and kids movies only
It’s literally Tarantino’s only watchable film you pleb
imagine being this much of a faggot
>not liking pulp
>not liking the dairy and bar scenes in IB
the opening to IB might be the best scene, but my favorite tarantino scene out of any movie is that whole sequence in the underground bar. the buildup, the characters, the tension, and the big ending of it are so good.
Move every 2nd movie one spot up and I'd agree
Those scenes convince me that he'd be a competent horror director because he clearly knows how to make a scene intense and suspenseful.
i agree. i also think he's proven himself to be really great at working with just about any kind of actor. IB is mostly european actors and they all do a great job. Major Hellstrom is such a fucking good character. maybe he picks em well, but i think he speaks the right kind of sperg language that elicits great performances from these people.
this
It's not as indulgent as Tarantino's other films
Because Elmore Leonard is a way better writer than Quentin Tarantino.
