Yeah because regular gymgoers still have reasonable amounts of body fat. Once you get into 10% or so and you're going a lot of lifting, you'll start seeing veins.

Partly because after a certain point doing 50 is going to be a breeze and you won’t get much of a benefit from it and partly because putting strain on the same muscle groups every day doesn’t let them recover properly
