Eastern Promises is top ten most overrated movie. History Of Violence is an acceptable alternative for modern Cronenberg, unless you're literally a Russian jew from Brighton Beach

he's right though
>The Bridge at Remagen
that's actually good? haven't seen it but I always thought it looked like a mediocre action flick

Attached: topsters2(4).png (1452x913, 359K)

Total retard opinion

the script is great

It's not even in my top 10 Cronenberg let alone my top 30 all time

It's the only Bergman film I actually liked. Watched Wild Strawberries, The Seventh Seal and started Fanny and Alexander. Persona was the only one I actually enjoyed start to end.

I watched The Green Ray on Filmstruck before it got shut down and was blown away. Such a simple, beautiful portrayal of loneliness. And you should watch Pierrot le Fou if you haven't.

I've seen it before, been meaning to re-watch all of Godard at some point though. From what I recall I didn't enjoy it as much as week end or contempt but it's been awhile so who knows.

Well then check out Celine and Julie Go Boating

thanks for the rec

Good thread

Points for Carnival of Souls
