fuck these giant gaps in the IndyCar schedule
need more races

the issue isn't the gap in the schedule, the problem is the nothing but NASCAR filling those gaps.

I don't even consider NASCAR an option until stages are removed
if that's all that's on then I will just not watch racing

Honestly if Indy and IMSA had a better balanced schedule the pain of waiting wouldn't be so bad

I'll watch literally any motorsport other than StageCAR

Even if IndyCar and F1 each had only 16 races per season, between them, IMSA and WEC there's really no excuse for a weekend during the on season for there not to be a race or Indy500 Qualifying.

Do you mean this weekend? It's Easter. It's a pretty big Christian holiday... I'm actually very surprised NASCAR is racing

NASCAR had seasons where there was at least one points race somewhere each weekend, sometimes two making doing a full season physically impossible.
