Why hasn't greek myth been adapted for modern audiences in television and film?
We have the CGI tech to pull off things like Kronos and the Titans, and television shows are so graphic now that all of the rape, cannibalism, and incest wouldn't be overly shocking
How did you miss the sword & sandal revival of the 2000s-10s The last one before that was 1950s-60s so you'll have to wait 50 years for the next batch.
Hudson Diaz
Unironically it's because Gods of Egypt flopped so hard a couple years ago. Hollywood follows trends, if GoE flopped, then it must mean that mythology movies could never be successful.
Daniel Garcia
You should be glad we're not getting any these days. Remember BBC's Troy?
Joseph Nelson
>Clash/Wrath of the titans, Immortals, Hercules... Those are all adapted from greek myth into action films or some bullshit with the Rock.
I want a straight up telling of Greek Myth with all of the insanity you read about in the edith hamilton novel
Zachary Carter
None of those are Greek myth, they're borderline retarded action schlock
