Overrated movie filled with pointless scenes that drag the already jarring pace of the flick. Plot goes absolutely nowhere and the worst part is where Travis suddenly goes from being a hardcore Palantine supporter to trying to assasinate him for no goddamn reason. Other scenes like the one where he converses with the Secret Service man are just plain weird, serving absolutely no point besides trying to hammer the audience over the head with "look hes going crazy lmao". Also editing is subpar to say the least, the most blatant one is where he's conversing with Iris and the scene suddely cuts out then proceeds in a completely different direction making it clear part of it was editied out. A solid 6/10, a decent character study but nowhere near the cult classic status its been elevated to.
