The Color Out Of Space

The Gardner family moves to a remote farmstead in rural New England to escape the hustle of the 21st century. They are busy adapting to their new life when a meteorite crashes into their front yard. The mysterious aerolite seems to melt into the earth, infecting both the land and the properties of space-time with a strange, otherworldly color. To their horror, the Gardner family discover that this alien force is gradually mutating every life form that it touches … including them.

Starring Nicholas Cage.

The movie also stars Joely Richardson (Red Sparrow), Madeleine Arthur (Big Eyes), Brendan Meyer (The OA), Tommy Chong (After Hours), Elliot Knight (Titans), Julian Hilliard (The Haunting of Hill House) and Q’Orianka Kilcher (The Alienist).

Looks Lovecraftian. Sounds like something Lovecraft would write.

nah, Lovecraft did tentacle monsters, you're thinking of stephen king

>unimaginable color
>just purple
Trash, bet it will be even worse than Annihilation, which already a weak COoS ripoff

literally is

It's probably based on someone who wrote things similar to HP Lovecraft. That's why it seems similar to Lovecraft's works, like Shadows of Dunwhich.

that "plant" at the bottom right has a weird shape haha

>Red Sparrow
>The OA
>After Hours

>The Haunting of Hill House

it's steVen kind, you're thinking of stePHen spielberg

plant rape is more raimi's thing desu

It's probably being made in B.C. where most of these Canadian based shows are made.

What is this bit you are doing?

Imagine being such a fag you instintainously see a penis in every image you see

>...is this a fucking Netflix movie?
it was idependently financed and doesn't have distribution yet. world premiere at toronto film festival next month.

>not associating q'orianka with the new world
>nobody mentioning richard Stanley is the director

This is going to be interesting in some kind of way

You fags need to watch Lost Soul to get seriously hyped for this movie. Stanley is the definition of SOUL.

this

>Shadows of Dunwhich
*Dunkirk

Getting pretty sick of these threads not discussing Richard Stanley. The guy made Hardware and Dust Devil, and spearheaded the 90s Moreau movie before getting shutcanned and working with Marlon Brando to sabotage the production. All he's made since are docus.

Who cares lol

Isn’t that the exact same story as annihilation?

Sounds kino

Trailer ?

this people should really watch Lost Soul to appreciate it

not yet afaik hopefully it will be soon

>"Finally... I have become the Colour out of space."

>Tommy Chong (After Hours)
He’s really well known from something else, but I can’t quite remember the name...

annihilation is more of a roadside picnic/stalker rip-off

Not gonna watch.
I just know that if I do it will impede with my own imagination of the book's descriptions which is already perfect.

oh see can you see

>the book's descriptions
it's a short story

You caught me, faggot, I haven't even read it, I only listened to the audiobook like 10 times.

The only way you could do this properly is how that german movie did it:
black and white movie with the 'color' having actual color (in case of the german movie it was pink)

literally the plot of that book

How dare H.P. Lovecraft rip off Stephen King.

Is this about the Skinwalker Ranch?

Doesn't work in a modern setting
