Never watched an ep anyway
so shrug senpai
Hobbs & Shaw referenced the show. It's not forgotten and won't be forgotten. The ending is legendarily poor and GRRM is a hack.
I didn't forget the cutest queen.
Jon was the mad one.
I wish. Feels like people won't stop whining about this shit. I GET IT. YOU WERE DISAPPOINTED. MOVE ON.
I've not talked about it with anyone irl since it ended besides my sister that I'm leeching off of. She got me to watch it in season 7. My friends watch but we just seem to not ever talk about it.
I want to read the scripts of the last four episodes so much.
Jon is always mad at everything.
The show will never be forgotten thanks to its disastrous ending. Same reason Lost will never be forgotten.
The last season was fine considering the track record of the past 4 seasons, it was beyond repair.
The last season was not fine. Not even relative to the previous 3 seasons.
Cutest rational
Why did D&D do our girl so dirty?
Why was there not a single proper fight between a human and white walker in episode 3? Most main characters had fight scenes and the Night King is played by a real life fencer who has done the Arthur Dayne choreography. There is literally no excuse for it.
Only part of S8 worth it
Laziness, bad writing, incompetence, a combination of all those.
>replace an actual actor who is still the most iconic Night King for a stuntman
>the stuntman never does any stunts
Blame George. He actually thought making Jon Scott Peterson would be a satisfying ending.
Just another reason why season 8 is complete trash.
Me neither. Shame she played such a shit character.
>Kit telling George to start writing
CUTE!
Why didn't Jon give her a pat on the head?
If I was a white walker standing behind a replenishable army of that dead which has been accumulating for over 10000 years, I wouldn't bother showing up to fight either. NK coming out in the open is the truly retarded part.
Characters who were incredibly cute then absolutely wasted?
Based
There was no reason at all for the White Walkers to engage anybody, especially after losing two of them to Jon.
His behavior was inexplicable.
those armpit shadows... I wish it were hair
>sansa presses for northern independance despite having familial and personal ties to the king himself as well as three other regions of the realm
>the north is nothing but a handfull of women, infants, cripples, and old people after having been ravaged by war and winter for eight years
>nothing to eat or trade
Hands down the dumbest political move on the show, and it's got a stiff competition. She'll be Yara's saltwife in less than a month.
She thought starting a second Dance of Dragons was preferable to having a "brother" as King-Consort. She wasn't particularly smart.
And it would be a very short Dance too. Jon would be surrounded by thousands of Dany's troops and Rhaegal is injured so Jon can't even fight drogon. She's pretty much trying to get Jon killed and turning him into a martyr to make the North hate Dany even more
Was Jon autistic?
Dany
Who gives a fuck? Succession is back.
He is almost certainly wearing heels here.
Heil Daenerys
Why does that matter
She did nothing wrong.
I wonder why she thought Tyrion wouldn't immediately tattletale. He didn't because reasons, but her "plan" seemed like suicide from the beginning.
I choose dany
Much better show about power struggles, families, lies, truth and sex.
nice cheeks
I was pissed with the contrived way the had the Lannister army and the Golden Company get btfo by 2,000 eunuchs and 500 northerners in like 10 minutes. And how 50 crossbows couldn't hit 1 dragon. Fuck that shit.
I WAITED 2 YEARS TO SEE JAIME KILLING A WHITE WALKER HIS VALYRIAN SWORD WAS USELESS JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSES
I only know she was the one thing I ever wanted. Someone took her away from me, and seven kingdoms couldn't fill the hole she left behind.
It's interesting how fast my 3 friends that were in season 3/4 when the series ended dropped it after the outrage from the final episode.
That's the plot contrivance you are pissed about? Oh boy, do we have to go back if we want to talk about plot contrivances.
>army of the dead didn't got past Winterfell
>no Jon with a flaming sword vs Night King on the throne room
>no battle on the Trident
>no Jaime killing Night King because Kingslayer pottery
>NK killed by LA GOBLINA
>Jon rode a dragon only 2 times
>nobody gave a shit Jon rode a dragon
>nobody gave a shit Jon is a Targaryen
Reminder she was super-high on drugs here.
What do you mean?
That was before the aneurysm, no?
For one, Rhaegal should have never been hit in the first place, but he was hit by a ballista 3 straight times. Dany also should have seen Euron, and known about him. Cersei had no chance from the beginning and was kept alive due to plot contrivance.
>niggard
she's hot and that's that
Still waiting on part two of nostalgia chick's review. I can forget it then
>nobody gave a shit Jon is a Targaryen
What do you mean? Jon being Targaryen was very important information...until it wasn't.
Her farts probably stink
BS
Must have been torture to remember lines while you're recuperating from a aneurysm
threadly reminder that D&D's bull-ish is not canon.
Stannis is currently marching on Winterfell.
Not to mention lines in a made-up language.
She was on aneurysm medication during S2-S3 tho, that's why she has way less scenes
I think they spared her from having to do that in S2.
She speaks a bit of Dothraki in the beginning of the season, when she sends her blood-riders out in different directions to find help.

You saw what George intends with Jon and Dany, so what do you think he is going to do to Stannis? This is a Stark world. We just live in it.
THE MOTHER DRAGONS
*plowed*
Danny and Jon is the most shittiest, forced pair that happened out of the blue in this entire series. I seriously hope GRRM doesn't do that in the books.
>I seriously hope GRRM doesn't do that in the books.
Are you in some special kind of denial?
The books aren't coming out
>I seriously hope GRRM doesn't do that in the books.
He won't because the books are never coming out
This dress with that long hair is from season 1 though isn't it?
threadly reminder that Daario took her anal cherry and then she sent ATM cause she wanted more.

I think is, but was from S2

REPENT, SCUM!
How dare she go out in public like that
season one happened and it's a wild ride. almost makes up for the last 4 shitty seasons.
You'll regret the day you ever doubted me. Screencap this for future use.
Fair enough. You can have your Stannis ruling and I can have my Jon and Dany on Dragonstone.
Was this really too much to ask for? I mean you could still have that shitty end with Bran the Broken and your cuck self-insert Sam raising his wife's son.
I-i'm sorry, i didn't knew
Get back to writing instead of shitposting on Yea Forums George, only a matter of time before the diabetes gets you
How can one girl be this qt
Jon and Dany felt like side characters in the last few episodes, I kept wishing they'd get off the screen so I can see what happened to the interesting characters and then I remembered they're all dead
at least she'll actually do nudity unlike Sophie
They had the only interesting storyline left. But it was ruined just like everything else.
Based cuteposter
You should be grateful for that, Sophie's body is weird as FUCK
I have no desire to see either of them naked. They are not attractive.
>the ring that holds all my power can magically be destroyed by lava and also everyone knows this despite the fact I forged it in complete secret and also the entrance is lit up like an MMORPG dungeon so you know you're in the right place instead of having fake entrances with fake doors and catacombs and traps to protect me
I'm glad I didn't watch this show past season 4
Is this a lotr thread now?

I'm glad I stopped reading the books halfway through ASoS.
Yeah, but what does he eat?

Still a better story than Bran the Broken.
If there can be a Chernobyl + The Terror general, can there be a Lord of The Rings + Game of Thrones general? Asking for a friend.
sure, and then maybe we can have a dog poop and ice cream general too
Can you even imagine the weight-tax on that?
Jannies hate GoT so it would be outlawed within a day
Jannies started giving bannies for making new /got/ generals so anons had to stop.
Patrician choice.
>Chernobyl + The Terror general,
Is that what those are? I was confused seeing them. I have those downloaded but haven't watched yet. We can probably have some fantasy general in a year or so with all the fantasy shit coming out.
This. Witcher + GoT seems more likely. Shit mixed with shit.
She looks like a monster, user. Are you attracted to her just because she is famous and that you thought she would grow up to be cute?
The thought of the show alone makes me cringe now
I hope Witcher is at least entertaining, but I really don't trust Netflix. One of these new shows has to be watchable.
her body is nice though
Millions of women have nice bodies and better looking faces.
Billions. With a B.
I'd fuck Arya desu
If it's good enough for Lord Gendry Baratheon it's good enough for me
Gendry could throw a tong and hit a more attractive woman than Arya Stark.
She's superb cute.
You have no standards whatsoever. Out of all the celebrities to waifufag over, you chose a goblin.

>comparing Lost season 6 to GoT season 8
Rewatched Lost recently and the ending wasnt even as bad as i remembered it. Still a great show. GoT last two season werent simply bad. Season 5 and 6 were bad but whatever...still bearable. Season 7 and especially 8 are pure garbage on fire and managed to ruin the whole show. No way i'll rewatch this show ever again.
99% of the tailors are woman or faggots though
That ending was pure shit
Is Lost still worth watching now or is it one those shows you had to watch when it aired to enjoy it
Gib Emilia measurements
Don't break oaths, you oath breaking shit.
>smol

The ending was exactly what should be. Sansa learned from Littlefinger and she won, then someway Littlefinger won too. You guys doesn't love Littlefinger? Yeah
>go to strip club on costume/cosplay night because there's a convention in town so they have a theme night
>a bunch of the big titty whores have GoT costumes on except with their tits out
>it's Canada so you get to play with their tits and rub their ass while they grind on your cock until you cum in your pants
based
That love is the death of duty. Which he already learned with Ygritte's death and when he got stabbed for trying to abandon the Wall to fsave Arya. Third time's the charm. Oh wait, there's still the child in a woman's arms, hope he can avoid that one now
Sansa did nothing Littlefinger would do. Her scheming made no sense.
So, Emilia shills are almost certainly getting paid, right?

Its a good show with a 'WTF???' Season 6 finale (the rest of the season isnt even bad, it explain to you a lot of things built in the 1-5 seasons) but definitely watching it back then was another thing. It was a sensational show with things the audience had never seen and a way of telling a story completely new. Now you've seen these things a gorillion of times so the show is simply a good sci-fi tale with weird finale, some good characters and a couple of boring episodes. Imo still worth watch.

It's just extremely inorganic. No one on the board gave a shit about her until the show was over. And now the board is flooded with extremely similar Emilia spam. It's like a forced meme, except that it's promoting a soon to be washed up actress.

Wow, she really needed someone and no one was there.
>No one on the board gave a shit about her until the show was over.
Were you not here for season 7?
Dare i say... based?
No one is promoting her tho. If anything we used to have to make threads not too long ago to HIDE in that people and the janny wouldn’t care to look at.
This show is proof that “subversion” for the sake of shock value and outsmarting ones own audience can literally kill a franchise quicker than t started. The two fuckfaces who wrote the show wanted to subvert expectations only for the sake of having an ending no one can guess, even saying Jon v Night King was the right choice but the predictable one. The only problem is...if a story FEELS like its going somewhere, and DOES, it’s satisfying because it fits the narrative. Even if the audience can tell where a story is going, its fulfilling to see something play out and it just means the breadcrumbs in the story were lined up in a cohesive way.
BUT WHAT IF ARYA KILL NIGHT KING

That Night King bullshit was absolutely D&D's bullshit, but the ending is GRRM's. It's garbage.

Paid for by whom? For what gain?
This kids death fucked me up. That shit was sad.
why so bitter bro?
Bran could have saved him by the way
>Contrarians on Yea Forums love her now that all the sjws were crying they butchered her character.
No, I loved her after season 7. You clearly weren't paying attention after it aired.
He didn’t even have to die....
Why did he die again? Why did Night King nail him to the wall again?
>Bran could have saved him by the way
He had more important things to do, like telling Jon about his parentage.
Real sjws hate her cause she's a "white savior"
Just to build tension for the night king, the writers didn't think of the implications of anything just a big shock moment cause they thought it would be cool
Remember being in denial about the Night King leaks? Those were good times.
He would've made a based lord commander bros....
The amount of coping was absurd
>it's not real bro
>NK gonna turn around and kill her bro

wow tv is infested with trannies recently please go dilate.
Wow, not an argument.
I think normies called out season 8 because nothing had a payoff, Jon being a Targaryen didn't matter, winter didn't matter, Night King and the army of the dead didn't matter

>ARYA
>She knows who you are. Who you really are. You’ll always be a threat to her.
What the fuck is this writing? Dany let Jon walk all over her.
please say sike
The show's legacy is in tatters, but let's be honest, this all started with season 5, specifically season 5 episode 4, the scene where Ser Barristan is murdered by a dozen nobles in gold masks wielding knives. That is the beginning of the end of this series. From there on, while there were a few decent episodes and moments, for the most part it was a straight up decline. It just so happens that season 5 is when the show really started to gain popular culture traction as well and become far too large for the showrunner's egos. At the same time it was then that they ran out of material to adapt and had to resort to writing their own dialogue and developing the characters without the novels to guide them, so everything just sort of went to shit as they sort of forgot about years of character development.
and yet people act as if season 8 was when this show took a nosedive.
I'll still maintain that S07E06 is the worst episode of the series by far, and the most logically inconsistent. It's everything that is wrong with the series as a whole; zero cohesive in-universe logic, the writers simply writing things that they believe will look "cool" on screen rather than thinking things through, and placing characters in situations they should never have been in the first place.
Fuck OP for making me think about this garbage again though, I've had several months without thinking a single thought about this dumpster fire and now my seething anger has returned.
He was implying it was a joke with the clown pic. Y'all are autistic.
>I'll still maintain that S07E06 is the worst episode of the series by far
Not when The Long Night exists. The Long Night is everything Beyond The Wall is times a thousand. It's not fun, it's not funny, it has bad action that we can barely see, and everybody acts like a literal retard from the jump.
If you read GRRM’s about love life it’s not a surprise why every romantic relationship in ASOIAF is pretty much tragic. George was your stereotypical beta cuck. There’s a reason why there’s so much unrequited love and countless love triangles in his works. Writing the character of Jorah must have hit too close to home
They're both spectacularly bad, but beyond the wall is just so terrible, the entire journey and trek beyond the wall is so frustratingly inconsistent with what we know about the world, and in addition to this, the entire ordeal was completely meaningless because it all amounted to nothing except them losing a dragon. The sole purpose of the episode was to move the plot forward, it did nothing else.
Season 8 is definitely the worst overall season of the show though.
3 > 1 > 4 = 2 > 6 > 5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 7 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 8
it's kind of like a house of cards situation, the first few seasons are pure kino, but the second half of the series just goes from mediocre, to outright bad.
Agggh save me grey worm
This. There isn't a single couple in ASOIAF history that doesn't either begin or end in tragedy. Even just two people being lovers tends to go bad for one of them
Unless you're Sam, of course.
Melisandre appearing out of nowhere, lighting the Dothraki's arakhs (which are not made of dragonglass), and then the Dothraki suicide charging something they cannot see, instantly elevates The Long Night over Beyond The Wall as the worst episode, and all that shit happened in the first five minutes. The Long Night doesn't even have any interesting character interactions, while there are a scene or two from Beyond The Wall that people still talk about in a non-spiteful fashion (e.g., Jon and Dany boat scene).
Season 8 is so trash that even a casual fan can point out how shit makes no sense. It contradicts itself logically within its own scenes (e.g., that whole Iron Fleet debacle). It doesn't even have any fun action episodes like season 7 had.
I'm glad people are calling this bitter old fuck out.
George’s insert is still a pathetic beta though. He’s stuck with one of craster’s inbred daughters and raising his son
Season 8>Season 7 same shit writing in 7 with less spectacle, episode 4 was the only watchable season 7 episode.
That wasn't even the worst part
ARYA MATERIALIZING FROM THIN FUCKING AIR TO KILL NIGHT KING LIKE THAT FUCKING MEME COMIC GETS ME SEETHING TO THIS DAY
>Hop on user!
>Season 8>Season 7
No.
S7 Jon still had a bit of greatness in him
S8 Jon is a disgrace
>After destroying half the city's population
>I know a killer when I see one
WOW ARYA, SUCH INSIGHT YOU HAVE!
Checked. Imagine if we got the Disney ending--the one that makes sense, not the nonsense we actually got. People would bitch but we would be spared from the godawful Bran The Broken bullshit.
This stupidity doesn't compare to what happened with Arya and the Night King. Nowhere even fucking close.
S7>S5>S6>S8
>come at me bro, v2
Still better than The Long Night though
I’d say arya is less stupid then drogon not landing on the nights Kings fucking head
>Season 8>Season 7
Yes, if I want worse action, worse dialogue, a worse plot (somehow), and character assassination across the board, I would prefer season 8.
If you want to blame something, blame season 6's finale. D&D set things up so Cersei had to be artificially kept in power. Season 7 had no chance.
>tfw so close to accepting everyone was right about GRM writing himself into a corner and he wont finish them
God damnit bros.. The books were so magical and blew me away I can't accept this
>WE SAIL TOGETHER
>WE FUCK TOGETHER
>WE RULE TOGETHER
The main character of the show was given no lines to make the ending work, and it still didn't make any fucking sense.
It's not even Gilly's kid in the books. Jon switched Little Sam with Mance's newborn. Sam and Gilly are raising a kid unrelated to any of them and Little Sam will likely die at the Wall
accept the last book won't be written/published, and choose your own ending
gurm thinks he can live forever, but yeah, no.
You should have realized this when GRRM decided to dedicate two books and hundreds of thousands of words to "world building". Now the book ending is spoiled and many people hate it.
He's going to die before his next five books (kek) come out.
What's there to remember? Former Stannisfag here, and looking back, it was extremely overrated as a whole, full of nonsense worldbuilding like eternal feudalism lasting for literal centuries. Don't even care about the book.
It's okay user, you'll accept it one day. There's no five year timeskip either, yet another reason George will never be able to finish. Last two books were shit btw
>former Stannisfag
there is no such thing.
Worst part is that I geniunely read good theories in the meantime yet they all mean jackshit. It’s kind of a good thing the books won’t be released though, I’ll just stick with head canon. It would’ve been disappointing garbage just like the show
>I’d say arya is less stupid then drogon not landing on the nights Kings fucking head
You know, before I would have told you that touching the Night King would be a bad thing, but after what happened with Arya, eh? Why not get Drogon to fuck the Night King up?
Cute
That's an insult to lost, a show that while having some issues with the story, had actually deep, well-written characters for the most part, and a conclusion that while not as satisfying as it could have been, was at least watchable, and emotional, and to me pretty satisfying from the standpoint of the characters. Even the on-Island stuff was alright in the LOST finale. Far from perfect but it was no where near the trainwreck that GoT was. LOST is how you do a bittersweet ending properly.
Why even watch the finale after Jon kills Dany? Who cares at that point? I don't like George's ending, but D&D could have not made the last episode a filler one.
The moment he stabbed her I no longer cared, really expected drogon to burn him and be done with it.
I should ask my horse about the finale
I still love her
>I should ask my horse about the finale
What horse? There is no white horse.
This is a big reason I actually hate season 7 the most. Season 7s entire premise is to set up season 8. So not only is season 7 shit as a stand-alone dalone but it’s even worse because it’s lay-off was equally shit in season 8.
Based
Then, by that logic, you might as well hate season 6 even more, because it revealed colossal plot points that went nowhere and set up Dany as powerhouse who would have taken over Westeros in 2 episodes tops.
yep, season 6 finale ends with the following
>the best way to make alliances...
>is with marriage
not mentioned in season 7, and ignored in season 8
Also, Cersei commits mass murder--and not only gets away with it--but gets to be Queen. I like Home, The Door, The Battle of The Bastards and The Winds of Winter, but all of those episodes raised a shitload of questions that were never answered.
>Natalia Tena, who played Wilding Osha in Game of Thrones, thinks the final season felt like it was "written by different people”
Cersei S5-S6 plot doesn't get enough shit
Wasn't she doing stupid shit in the books like giving away her fleet to pirates?
Yet you felt to come here and post about it. Sorry but I never understood retards like you.
Based Natalia. I've always liked her and her band.
Still the most retarded scene i've ever seen.
It got people on here who were hate watching (and also hated Dany) hard, but it was a horrifically stupid scene. The Night King's death scene is still worse for me, though.
She's crazy in the books. In the show her characterization is all over the place and the plot makes no sense, and she solves everything by just blowing everyone up
To be fair, she is also crazy and stupid in the show, and Qyburn, Euron and Jaime do all the work for her. She just gets away with it because D&D love Lena Headey.
She's supposed to be a mshiavellian genius like tywin, she's retarded but that's what the writers think
>she will never have children on her own, living in a house with a red door.
Its not fair. She did nothing wrong
But everything since Season 5 has been utter dogshit. The last season is no different in terms of shittiness in compared to Season 7. 6 is kind of good, mostly because of the High Sparrow stuff.
>denying this.
Jon is a fag
I want to burn peasants with her. It's not fair!
>The last season is no different in terms of shittiness in compared to Season 7.
That's incorrect for reasons that have already been stated numerous times in this thread.
I don't remember that scene
>that subtle curve
I want to marry this woman.
not everyone is an incestious degenerate like yourself
Unironically. I was actually a big fan of the show, and I realized that when you made this thread that I hadn't thought about since like 4 days after the series ended.
makes me want to download download those scenes in 1080p and make quality webms
A Stannischad does not concern himself with the opinions of Jonerysfags.
Aunt/nephew isn't incest in Westeros
Never watched a single Meereen scene.
What was the point of this? What was even the point of Jon and Dany falling for each other. It just seems like George felt the ending would be too happy otherwise so he had to complicate it by making Jon have feelings for Dany before killing her. This is the Arya Sansa thing all over again, lol Starks are too happy so let me invent a new character who's the opposite of one of them so the family has some squabbling
Her body proportions are just right
We're discussing characters who made it passed season 5. Get lost, kiddo.
of course it is
It's a magic world with dragons and zombies and shit, he got revives from the dead, who cares if your girl is related
It isn't
All I know is that I was indifferent to Dany and didn't think she would have a relationship with Jon, but season 7 changed that and I hate GRRM now.
It literally isn't. Starks married uncle to niece twice and Ned Stark's parents were cousins.
I suppose there will be a baby at the end of the books, how else is the ending supposed to be bittersweet?
they filmed a pregnant dany for episode 5 but cut it, probably realized jon wouldn't stab her and his own child
There isn't a single interesting character past Season 5 though.
False. Also, Jaime before he went back to Cersei for no reason.
Episode 5 seems really late to think about having a pregnant Dany. I've seen the pictures and video but how would they ever think they could pull that off if Cersei's been pregnant since early season 7 and still nothing visible?
And it's bittersweet for the protagonists aka Starks, George doesn't care about anyone else. Starks rule two castles and regions ruined by war and have split, as far as George cares, that's bittersweet
>dany never petted ghost
You have a point on Jaime, he was the biggest missed opportunity to do something with him. Gendry could've actually been useful in rallying the Stormlands against Cersei for Dany, but he did fuck all and was given Storm's End and we never see him again. Euron's motivations are never cleared up. This could've all been fixed if we had a full 10 episode season, but instead they rushed it.
She never pet Ghost, never spoke to Arya, was a bitch to Tyrion for the entire season (with reason), but most of all SHE NEVER SPOKE TO JON SNOW ABOUT MARRIAGE.

mega cringe

You have to go back f a m
Gendry has never been there, is unknown to most, uneducated, any "supporters" are looked down upon or biased and hated by the other lords there, Stormlands would need too be conquered to acknowledge Dany as queen or her legitimizing of Gendry as valid, and knows nothing about ruling or leading. He's not good for anything. I fucking hate the importance D&D and the show fandom gives him
She gave Tyrion every chance, but he still stabbed her in the back. And Varys.
>Jon never petted dany
That's why Dany being alive had to happen for the ending to work. She has the force in Drogon and the blood claim.
That's because its clearly in the books he's meant to be Edric Storm, but in the show they completely cut Edric Storm out and give the role to Gendry. Honestly, it'd have been better to entirely cut Gendry and make it all be Edric Storm. Edric is castle-educated and flees to Essos, which is clearly setting him up to be legitimized by Dany as her new Lord of Storm's End.
