Best Tom Cruise movie?

Someone already beat you to it. I read a fan fiction where this guy didn't die; He just went into a coma after emergency surgery and they kept him alive because of everything that he knew. They had to hide his identity because a lot of people would want him not to talk.

Anyway, a group of assassins figure out where he is and decide to revive him so that he can kill John Wick (this after the events of JW2). After reviving him, he figures out what he wants them to do and plays the "older, slower, dumber" card until they figure that he's not worth anything and try to kill him. He kills them and then proceeds to start taking down other assassins because that's how Vincent rolls.

Long story short is that the Syndicate declares a truce with John Wick so that John Wick can kill Vincent. However, Vincent promises JW that he's not hunting innocents anymore, just the people too cowardly to pull the trigger themselves. JW fakes Vincent's death but we find out that Vincent lied and is going back to his old ways after all.

With JW3 out, that mythos is busted but it was a fun read regardless. Don't know if it's still online or not.

The MI series might be jewlywood blockbusters but they are pretty comfy and enjoyable asides from the 2nd movie.
