Just started watching this and I really don't like it, does it get better with later seasons?
The Expanse
idk
No it stays same.
>I really don't like it
Pleb.
Yeah it took me like a year to get through the first season and then in season 2 I started counting down the days to each new episode
I just finished S1 yesterday and I love it.
>tfw no Amos bf
Taylor Lautner is the best actor in this show.
>Pleb.
I don't know about that, the show itself feels kinda plebby to me
>Let me restate how shitty my taste is.
No need for that bro. We got it the first time.
just read the books, they're much better
>books
>in 2019
You're so 19th century.
How far into it did you get? If you don't like it by about episode 5 then you probably won't.
Literally doesn't though, at the start Miller is the main character and he's awful
It definitely gets better, or at least it has less low points the more it goes on. It has some real shit scenes and acting early on. By the third season there's not much of that left.
>mfw Amos becomes an immortal alien demigod in the last book
I can't wait for the last book to come out. This is by far the best sci fi I've read in recent years.
The next one will be the last? Fuck.
The first season was kinda weird but it got better towards the end but then I ended up dropping it like mid season 2. Or was it mid season 3. Idk it just didn't keep me engaged.
Holden is the worst captain in the all sci fi series.
Yes it does. Also, season 1 wasn't even the first book, more like 3/4 of the first book. So you really need to watch till season 2 episode 5 cos that's where book 1 ends.
This
The characters are lacking and the "driving force" (protomeme) isn't super interesting
It's still good, but I admit that I had trouble getting through Season 1
I was way more interested in that than "Let's watch three secretive assholes yell at each other while Shep and Kamal drug themselves on the side"
