Why is there no early-2000's Nostalgia like we have had for every other decade? If we're being analogous to previous decades, we're at the point in the 2010's that the 2000's should have been thoroughly pureed and spread over everything.

9/11, the bush era, and the recession definitely soured the whole decade for a lot of people though.

Early = 2000 - 2399
Mid = 2400 - 2700
Late = 2701 - 2999

I feel like real life is moving towards mid 90s/1997 nostalgia, in addition to the everpresent 80s nostalgia. Just yesterday I saw "Wannabe" by Spice Girls in a movie trailer, and some Garbage song was also used in a Marvel movie.
