i miss the early 2000s
2008 is not early 2000s
early 2000s = 2000 - 2009
Why is he wearing a much bigger shirt under that smaller shirt? And why doesn't he get his hair cut?
Total fool.
Early- Jan 2000-April 2003
Mid- May 2003-August 2006
Late- September 2006-December 2009
>you will never watch old 2007 era youtube videos for the first time ever again
That's retarded. What do you call the whole decade? The 2000s? Then what do you call the century? If someone says the 1900s, they're not just referring to the first decade of the 1900s.
>2000 was 20 years ago
It was acceptable in the 00s, in the 00s, It was acceptable at the time
>Why is he wearing a much bigger shirt under that smaller shirt?
It was in-style back then. Thankfully everybody realized it was stupid and stopped
They actually are.
>what is the term “20th century”?
Dumb zoomer
Dumb millennial. I used to wear those terrible shirts, and I was born in 99
You're the guy I gotta talk to.
Why is there no early-2000's Nostalgia like we have had for every other decade? If we're being analogous to previous decades, we're at the point in the 2010's that the 2000's should have been thoroughly pureed and spread over everything.
Why is there no early 2000's Nostalgia and does it have anything to do with 9/11?
>that time when porn vids still get in from time to time
>that highest rated video if you search "boobs" around 2004
gone forever
Youtube didn't exist until 2005
We'll get more nostalgia for that decade in a few years. It's a bit of weird decade because it isn't as well defined as the ones before it
The 2000s are slowly coming alive with nostalgia. The release of Classic WoW is a big one. We're just now getting over 80s and 90s nostalgia so it's coming up soon.
9/11, the bush era, and the recession definitely soured the whole decade for a lot of people though.
Early = 2000 - 2399
Mid = 2400 - 2700
Late = 2701 - 2999
we're getting there. I imaine by 2023 we'll have a decent yet small trend of 2000's nostalgia going around, mainly because those that grew up in that time will be in there mid twenties-early thirties and have the money and talent to make stuff about it.
Zoomers will never understand the cute, comfy mid - late 2000s look.

When girls on the internet weren't made from plastic.
dave was kind of the proto logan paul. too ahead of his time to become a millionaire, but just in time to webcam with teenage girls all day.
right my bad. anyway i remember it was a chunky girl bouncing her boobs up and down. blew a lot of loads to that.
Did he get rich at least? I think he still plays music no good imo but he had an "concert" with some small band on his twitter
>Zoomers will never understand the cute, comfy mid - late 2000s look.
Late zoomers won't. Early zoomers do
Davedays was pretty talanted, his songs from 2008-2010 still hold up, what happened to him?
>Did he get rich at least?
i have no idea. i doubt anyone from that lisanova/daxflame/davedays/smosh era made much bank off of it, at least not compared to how much internet video personalities do now. judging by his twitter it looks like he hasnt moved on at all.
True its unfair to call 1995 to maybe 1997 people Zoomers. You're probably as removed from Zoomer TikTok and Fortnite shit us us late Millennials.
Does it feel weird calling yourself a Zoomer while core Zoomer stuff is alien to you?
feels weird to think back at the "stars" of 480p youtube
Who friday night kino here?
>african american friday
I don't understand this reference.
can't wait for the "i miss the 2010s" threads
and then for the "I miss the 2020s" threads
You’re so very wrong
>The year is 2004
>Just finished primary school, had a campout in the back of said primary school. We had a fire with marsh-mellows, we had a gameboy advance SP and we took it in turns to play MP advance wars 2
>After heading the local Spa for some blackjacks and fruit salads, I rode my bike back across the field to my comfy home, where my parents are married
>I load up my Dell PC, my dad bought it for me as it had a graphics card capable of playing Battlefield 1942 without crashing
>Load up Runescape (on HIGH quality, picture of a skeleton) and play with the guy who lives down the road for a few hours.
>head over to another friends house, the sun is setting, it's a wonderful summers day
>ask my friend if I can watch him play Everquest as my parents won't buy me a subscription
>we go on funnyjunk, a bright yellow weird page full of hilarious photos
Take me back to the happy times.
we didn't know how innocent the world was then
Nice blog
Thank you.
anyone remember makemebad35
Good that was fucking awful and you only remember it fondly because you're a dumb millennial
Nintendo should remaster the Advance Wars games for the Switch. It'd be easy money.
youtube.com
wholesome suburban middle class kino
yes
no one cares buddy
>We're going home bros.
I used to find that guy super hot. What the fuck was I thinking.
it sucks man
>graphics card capable of playing Battlefield 1942 without crashing
The y2k asthetic from someone who clearly wasn’t alive during it.
It also crashed on Empire Earth if I used nukes - it was another reason I had to get that upgrade...
We have to go back, anons, we have to go back
In 2006, Gen Xers used to say that the real 90s ended in mid-1997, and that the rest of the 90s felt like the early 2000s.
But now people are saying the real 90s ended in 2001, and that Britney, Woodstock 99, Blink 182, Dawson's Creek, Slipknot, American Pie, Toonami, Creed, Napster and Believe by Cher are "true 90score" and "nothing like 02-03 culture". What the hell happened?
>What the hell happened?
They realised that was the highlight of both eras, so wanted to claim it.
Also everything did change after 9/11
On an internet that is getting more and more Zoomer everyday, I can't believe that I've finally found my people.
I love you guys.
Fuck you.
I was born in 1990, what does that make me?
It's stupid lumping people together in these giant groups.
People born in 95-97 are early/mid 2000s kids, people born in 98-00 are mid/late 2000s kids, people born in 01-03 are late 2000s/early 2010s kids and people born in 04-06 are early/mid 2010s kids.
They should be categorized like that, not as one homogenous group
I remember meeting up IRL with some females from Yea Forums after the great Habo Hotel raids in 2007. Good times.
you're retarded also zoomer
as an early zoomer, I had no Idea what tiktok was until I visited wsg for the first time in two years last week. I'm pretty out of touch and hate the younger kids who repeat their baby shark and other pajeet 3d youtube videos.
downloading this on my school's broadband onto a usb drive so I could watch it at home where I only had 56k
people born in 1984 also complain about getting lumped in with people born in 1994 who grew up in a different era to them
that's a whole other thing you're trying to use 3 year increments like some autist
we just got rocko's modern life remake thingie also power rangers and captain marvel was full of 90s nostalgia. wait for them to get through the 90s before you'll see 00s
>Why is there no early 2000's Nostalgia and does it have anything to do with 9/11?
Are you fucking retarded? Early 2000s nostalgia was already huge on the internet back in 2015-2018, when people were making memes about stuff like skater punk, Shrek, Spy kids, etc. Likewise, 90s nostalgia peaked on the internet in 2005-2015 (remember all those Facebook/Leddit/Buzzfeed posts mentioning the 90s every five seconds).
Now in 2018-2019, the Internet has already moved onto Zoomer nostalgia for the LATE 2000s-early 2010s things like ICarly, Party rock anthem, Minecraft, and Cool math games.
Now you've got 98-2000 born Early Zoomers trying to crams stuff like Hannah Montana, Bieber, and iCrappy into the old school, blissfully unaware their childhood was considers new school trash by ranters back in 2009.
Hannah Montana was part of the prime Zoomer childhood era (late 2000s-early 2010s), once widely considered the downfall shit era.
I'm glad I grew up with Smosh and Ray William Johnson, kids today only know PewDiePie and Ninja, S M H!
>zoomer trying to take credit for cool math games
That was an early 2000’s thing
just go on all the social media apps that the zoomies go on, its fuckin plagued with that shit
The only thing I sort of miss is the old internet before it got attacked by retards. Jimmy Fallon being on YouTube and people online trying to correct the speech is killing me.
I miss when people invoked Godwin's law.
I feel like real life is moving towards mid 90s/1997 nostalgia, in addition to the everpresent 80s nostalgia. Just yesterday I saw "Wannabe" by Spice Girls in a movie trailer, and some Garbage song was also used in a Marvel movie. A few years ago, real life seemed more nostalgic for early 90s things such as Nirvana, Metallica's Black Album, Home Alone and Guns n Roses, since they were closely tied to the 80s.
And I do remember two years ago people on the internet were getting super nostalgic for early 00s shit like Limp Bizkit, but as you mentioned, this has died down and been superceded by zoomer nostalgia for the late 2000s.
Tfw used to always watch the handful of obscure porn clips that we're semi-hidden on Break.
I still refer to any girls who live near me as "neighbor girl" because of him.
late 90s was peak culture and civilization. Too bad doomsday scares going around then turned out to be true.
Are you fucking retarded? Early 2000s is still going on
kek I work at a helpdesk and I remember this lady called in, one of her securities was what's my birthday and she let out a sigh and was clearly not fond of the fact her birthday is on 9/11.
>t. early 2000s kid born in 2003
twelthofadime shaped me for the worst
