Honestly there is a lot and i mean a LOT of stuff you can watch, but generally look up some essential lists from Yea Forums or /m/ on fireden

I don’t get why people say to watch the Gundam condensed trilogy rather than the original series. Original series is the best of the UC entries and you miss out plenty by not watching it in full. Slow to start granted but once it gets going, fantasique.

I honestly never watched the movies (only series), but i've seen them being recommended over the series for people new to Gundam or anime in general

I would compare it to hollywood thrillers, nothing happens, the story is filler, but there's plenty of buildup and well directed scenes, basically the music and the picture are eye pleasing and it does a good job of hyping you up (for something that never happens)
