At what point did this show stop being funny? It's hard to say for sure for me. Maybe Season 7 or so

season 1 episode 1

holy mother of BASED

Hehe dood, totes nailz it XD

Okay, any adults wanna weight in now?

only women and 90s born queers raised by single mothers like friends

I watch because of 90s/early 2000s nostalgia, but it truly isn't funny and I have no idea how it became this popular

So you're admitting you're a zoomer? What do kids your age find funny these days?

It's funny as fuck if you're not a fag. Is that why you don't think it's funny?

Do you know what Joey did with his first paycheck from friends?

Got a hot blowjob?

no you fucking dumb ass zoomer

As soon as Chandler stopped being a bachelor anymore, the worm was in the fruit.

It was never funny, but the jumping the shark moment was the danny devito stripper episode.

Dont even @ me.

In truth Joey should have been richest, you’re telling me he couldn’t find good comedy work or didn’t partake in photoshoots

It had Jennifer Aniston and 2 8/10s. It didn't need to be funny.

The London episode is when things truly fell to shit.
> That awful British actress as Ross's love interest. Totally unbelievable.
> Chandler and Monica screwing. Totally unbelievable.
> Cameos from 'famous' English 'celebs'. Totally cringe for Brits and all went over the heads of Americans.

No I don't. Tell me.

>That awful British actress as Ross's love interest. Totally unbelievable.
Wasn't that the whole point of the character, that she was awful?

Maybe true. But I assumed the production team thought she was meant to be charming or some shit. Because accent.

I dont think so. Seems like the whole point was for her to be an unpleasant cunt. Hence the first time she was introduced. I think they were going for the "geek who falls for the bitch" storyline.

According to the laugh track, every third line of every episode was hilarious.

As someone who has extensively watched Friends throughout my life the show went downhill when Rachel had the baby. I think this was Season 7. All the characters just become Flanderized.

fpbp
You know a show isn't funny when it needs to have a laugh track so the audience knows when to chuckle

That's what I heard too. From Courtney Cox. In her new car!

It’s a girl show insecure queer

>OP and this user say season 7
we should probably listen to the experts here, people, me I always found the show to be more "cute" and "comfortable" than "funny" but "Get A Life" and early "It's Always Sunny..." are more my taste in comedy so what do I know.

When I rewatched friends a while ago I realized how extremely annoying and punchable Ross is. He is so extremely whiny, needy and petty. Jesus fuck.

this

Really it starts to decline after Chandler and Monica get married. The whole will they/won't they bullshit with Ross and Rachel just became retarded after they had a fucking kid together.

when they swap the flats

Joey/Rachel storyline.

You're right the show was just a comfy sitcom that had Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox and you liked the rest of the cast. It had its moments but by Season 7 it just started running out of ideas and by the time Rachel and Joey happened you really didn't give a shit anymore and you weren't laughing either. Always Sunny was better but they didn't have a laugh track and weren't censored as much either so they had a better advantage. Plus Danny Devito is a huge part of why that show was so good.

literally the best episode

Didn't he buy a ton of coke or something? Or was it a new car? I forget.

When Chandler married Monica, instead of Janice
