This is the Blair Witch, say something nice about her
This is the Blair Witch, say something nice about her
Imagine a BJ from her.
I read somewhere that they planned a sequel to this and it was going to be revealed that that monster was actually one of the blair witch's victims and not the blair witch herself.
But early in that movie they alluded to the blair witch having elongated limbs so I don't know.
Still creepy, I like films like this
It was allegedly the girl from the first movie
I think that's ww 84, I can see gadot there
>Hey guys there's this youtube video from the woods! Maybe it's my sister? You know the one that disappeared 25 years ago in the mid-90s. Let's go look for her.
I'm usually pretty great at TURNING MY BRAIN OFF AND ENJOYING THE RIDE :^) but that premise is so stupid.
I’d prefer her as the actual witch. Would make more sense in folklore and connect to a greater mythos and as such command greater context as well as a more vivid human connection to esoterism.
Witches in folklore stayed alive by sacrificing unbaptized babies. They were nasty af because they kept aging but were bound by spooky contract to be eternally alive in the flimsiest sense possible. So, if the OP were the witch, it would be a 300 year old woman that kept sagging but never decayed, and it looks pretty spot on.
>Would make more sense in folklore and connect to a greater mythos
It doesn't really connect to the first movie, the witch was described in the first movie during the interviews. I thought it would have been cool if they atleast tried to capture the descriptions the townspeople gave. I realize that can be easily explained as the town people just making shit up like bigfoot "sighters" but still.
This movie wouldn't have been total shit had it not been a Blair Witch sequel/reboot. I'd love to see an edit with all the references taken out.
Pretty sure the writer's take was that Elly Kedward, the woman accused of being the Blair Witch and left to die in the wilderness with rocks stretching her limbs, was only a "pawn" for the Witch. This is the creature we see in the movie. The implication being that the Blair Witch is some force in the woods that we haven't and probably never will see.
Doesn't matter though, I'd say this series as a film is probably dead. There is a game coming out this month though.
Funny enough the movie was actually initially marketed as a standalone (the first trailer was titled "The Woods") and then had a surprise reveal as a Blair Witch sequel at a Comic-Con screening. Bloody-Disgusting were the only ones to report it about a year and half before the movie released.
That old bitch with the stick fence is the witch and no one will ever convince me otherwise. She's got that fluffy sweater to cover the fur too
I love The Guest and I'm thoroughly disappointed that Blair Witch sucked so hard. Those two guys probably had one good movie in them.
OLD MEG MUCKLEBONES!
That voodoo snap scene got me good though.
They had that one-two punch of You're Next and The Guest, with solid entries in the V/H/S series that made them look like the next James Wan / Leigh Whannell but they weren't able to keep up. Adam Wingard is getting good projects though with Kong vs. Godzilla and the Event Horizon series so hopefully he'll hit a home run again one of these days.
I really do love The Guest and original Blair Witch, this isn't even worth a watch?
It's not offensively bad, just bland. There's a great sequel hidden in there but too many missed opportunities. If you really love the original, go for it, but otherwise it's one of those "torrent if you're bored" movies.
I forgot those dudes did You're Next. Yeah that's great, too. But The Guest is one of my favorite movies, it's just such a well made love letter to horror tropes and Dan the Man kills it.
But Blair Witch has none of those things. It felt really lazy. It's kind of stupid and does nothing new or exciting with the lore. It's like they tried remaking the original but clicked everything up half a notch and called it a day.
source? it would be retarded if they revealed what she looked like.
>2016
not canon
If i had wolverines claws and healing abilities i would stand and fight.
LMAO, what? This looks like a low poly monster from the era of Quake (1).
There’s two wtf
Blair Bitch
