why the fuck couldn't he lift the plane?

She looks like a Skyrim character

Attached: ows_156502651662433.jpg (2000x1310, 818K)

Why are they pushing actresses with male faces

duh

Look who cracked the case no one cared about. Fucking dipshit.

either his explanation that his flight power isn't that strong is correct, or he just didn't want to.

He probably could. But chose not to even try, because he doesn't care about humans.

I feel like he just didn't want to. His heroic save was botched, he wouldn't want the public to see anything but that

why is homelander so cuuuute?

physics. it's literally what he said.

Lift what? If he pushes with enough force from downwards he'll just go through it. If you grab the top it'll shatter. The plane would just break if he'd try to "lift it". Imagine lifting an airplane made with wool, it would just collapse around you.

Homelander is based for leaving all those people to die fuck your reddit sympathy. Faggots.

its patrician taste, daughters of chads beget chads

she's a dyke

Obviously.
Realistically he probably couldn't. The plane is moving at it's own speed and if he flies at it he's either going through it or flipping it. A few people suggested he lay flat and fly underneath it but there's nothing holding the plane onto him. There really isn't anything he could do to save the plane and flying the passengers out two at a time would probably kill them because of how fast he would need to do it.

The scene is there to show he's reckless and uncaring.

But the airplane isn't made of wool. I'm serious; I'm literally an aerospace engineer, and you could absolutely lift up the entire plane without crumpling the airframe.

why would you lie?

Where is he going to lift it from?

He could just catch it on the ground. If he can survive gunshots he can survive a "plane"shot.

He just needed an explanation that sounded confusing enough that QM wouldn't challenge it in the heat of the moment.

Could you tell me which airline you work for so I don't fly any of their planes

When he said "He has nothing to stand on", to me, it sounded like he just bullshitting and didn't want to bother because his endeavor was botched like another user said but your explanation makes more sense.

the plane has more mass than him and he can't transfer the energy it would take to support when he's floating in the air, much less while its mid flight

>I'm literally an aerospace engineer,
I'm a master chef at McDonalds , 11 inch cock, 400k salary, and 6'5. Due to my extensive research on McChickhens , i do concur that the plane frame, similar to our lettuce ramifications, could've supported an external stimul, a gentle push if you will, jus like the top part of the McChicken bun. THerefore, Homelander could've just position himself like the tender chicken file and support aeroplane gently on a descending scale on the ocean, just like the lettuce is slowly positioned on a creamy tartar sauce, brand new in a McDonalds near you.

She's like when a smoking hot girl you knew from high school gets past her prime and then spends all day drinking wine and complaining about younger women. Basically a parody of Wonder Woman.

Wine Aunt Woman

everyone saying "b-but if he lifted it the plane would break"
have you seen a plane's landing gear?
Massive passenger jets balance all their weight on a set of a few tiny trolley wheels.
like fuck he'd break it if he supported the plane in the right place

>Applying logic to fictional people with superpowers

Why do people do this

They are an amalgamation of heroes you fucking retards. e.g. Homelander is probably at least Superman+Captain America (e.g. captain america doesn't do eyes but superman does and superman isn't nationalistic about america but captain america ..obviously is).

It's not very important though. The point was "fuck capeshit".

PS. Even DC and Marvel did it by the way (anti-heroes) with Watchmen or/and comedies but those were gay attempts compared to this. This was straight to the point, fuck capeshit, especially Disney look-at-me-I'm-a-perfect-snowflake-superhero capeshit.

*cool wine aunt*

Attached: 1564827750815.jpg (300x222, 9K)

He explained that, and he was correct. The homelander may not care about people, but there was also nothing he could do to save them.

>superman isn't nationalistic
Superman is an American

I think she has a bit of black widow too.

*alien, kryptonian*

Attached: 1563890549686.jpg (1080x1074, 464K)

do you retards really still not understand he fucked up the planes controls and let it crash on purpose? he has full control of the laser eyes idiots it wasn't an accident

Homelanders costume grew on me, really dig how those eagle things bring attention to his shoulders.

raised in america

Couldn't he just have dipped the tail end so they could do an emergency landing? They were on open sea after all.

that's what homelander said, dumbass

still an alien, bitch

Attached: istockphoto-513476310-1024x1024.jpg (1024x680, 410K)

This. The only reason he was staking out the beach afterwards was to make sure there weren't any survivors. He needed this tragedy to happen to accelerate getting the Seven into the military.

In the comics he said he said he and the thing was in mid-air, so he had nothing to push off against.
In the comics he made a good attempt to at least try and do something, though in the end they just didn't have the training or plan to do anything, they were fucked from the start.

discount Fassbender

Not as much and in any case it's way less subtle. In most cases the "nationalism" regarding superman was mostly assigned to him by others first.

For Captain America it's in the fucking name and his clothes too. Fuck, he was literally a soldier boy if I recall correctly?

>less subtle
meant more

She's not. She dated Homelander and she tried to makeout with the other dyke when she was drunk and at her lowest point. Afterwards she rejects her. At most she is bi.

Based and underrated post.

cringe

Logic must apply at some point.

The show adds it in to take a slap at the MCU too, it's less pronounced in the comics where she's quite more obviously a jaded alcoholic Wonder Woman.

>took me 5 episode to realize that Starlight wasn't Kate Mara
what the actual fuck

The guy literally looks evil, he looks untrustworthy, slimey and a huge douche.
The comics at least try to make it look like it's behind closed doors the guy let's off the mask and show he's a dick whilst presenting as a true hero to the outside world.
Homelander was miscast here.

terrible bait, hoss

Then why go? If he wanted it to crash why even bother trying to save it? If that was his plan all along he would've just let the terrorists do their thing and not increase the chance of incriminating himself by lasering the controls.

It's all in the eyes. (not the lasers)

Why couldn’t he simply apply force to the front landing gear mounting area? Upon landing 3 very tiny locations are able to support many times the airplanes weight when making contact with the ground, at the very least he could apply enough upward force to decrease the angle of attack and provide and smoother landing on water or steer it away from buildings at the very least.

Yeah it seems like he thought up the plan (speech) after the fact, but he is shown multiple times to be completely in control of the laser eyes. Like 30 seconds before he fucks the plane controls in the same scene he lasers some dude perfectly with ZERO collateral. Yeah it doesn't make a lot of sense why he would need to go and ensure the plane crashed unless you considered he enjoyed doing it.

I thought I was the only one. The point of the Homelander what that he was Captain Awesome in public and Vought's wonderboy. Only in very small groups where he had plausible deniability or among "his" own was he his true self (discounting blanc noir).
I think the show creators fell into the usual trap and went from "supes bad" because power corrupts in the comic (which is why Butcher turns bad ultimately as well) to "white people bad".
They miswrote Butcher and Hughie as well. Instead of a highly competent smug shit and a genuinely angry but ultimately decent guy we get brooding failure who's shown up at every opportunity and a wussy audience-insert "everyman".
And the Frenchie/The Female relationship was absolute trash compared to the comic. These people have no subtlety.

Wow really? Next you're going to tell me the rest of them are supposed to represent Justice League. I don't think anyone thought of this before.

They were above sea so all he had to do was level the plane until it hit the water.

Didn't the windshield break causing massive turbulence?

Yes, fuck capeshit by making more... capeshit. And you watching it just makes another capeshitter of the marvelsóy kind.

>watching a gritty cynical satire on the 'everything will be alright' superhero cliché makes it capeshit and thus means you can't wait to see the next Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever
I award you the gold medal in Olympian mental gymnastics.

With what? His hand? The entire weight of the plane on such a small area would punch a hole through like it was made of plastic wrap.

Ever so slowly dip the tail-end down, or bend/laser the wings. I don't know, it doesn't seem impossible when you're a literal Superman and posess a shred of creativity.

How the fuck is Hugie supposed to be 25 ? he looks like a boomer

Deconstructed edgy capeshit is still capeshit

It's not about the capes, user.

Because in the series they cast hughie as his own father.
Why do you think they threw the jinkies in there as well? It's another example of the old being replaced by the new like they did in Star Wars.

>Because in the series they cast hughie as his own father.
what

Simon Pegg who plays Hughie's dad looks like an older carbon copy of comic Hughie.

*nods respectfully towards you*
Aye,

The character that looked like Hughie ought to have done (in the comics) was the father in the series. That's why they gave him comic-hughie's catchphrase as a "nod" or "homage" when it was actually just showing they replaced the old with the new.
It's like killing off every beloved Star Wars character and replacing them with younger versions to show they can and because millennials won't watch boomers.

she's like aela but less butchy

*tips fedora, swings katana*
heh agreed, it was the rational choice but christian plebs will never get it

so is Banshee a good show?

spoilers from the comic but the truth is he didn't want to go, he was ordered to when he saw it was a shitshow he just bailed

A large number of people would have died upon crash landing and after the inevitable investigation into what happened it would have been revealed that he caused those deaths by destroying the controls, so basically this:

Attached: freedom speak.jpg (381x573, 74K)

The comics aren't the show
Amazon's Homelander repeatedly disobeys orders if he thinks it will help the company, so if letting crash truly was his original plan he just wouldn't have gone at all

and he is also the son of Meg Rian and Dennis Quiad

When he's being PR superhero guy he's fucking phenomenal, the problem is the show gives up on that angle by episode two. If the plane scene was the first time we saw Homelander being an evil cunt it would have been much much more shocking, which is what I thought they were going to do when Butcher says he's "like Jesus" in the first episode.

Wrong. The physics explanation holds no water. If he can change direction mid flight, he can apply and opposing force to the velocity of the airplane.

Black Noir is Batman. The Black Panther standin is that guy who Vought were going to sell for 30 million

The Female of the Species reminds me of Wolverine after escaping the Weapon X thing.

>Black Noir is Batman
Did you even read the comic?

Yes. You cannot convice me Ennis was intending him to be the Superboy standin, twist or no

Why couldn't he wait on the ground and catch the plane? Answer that Neil grabass tyson

Attached: Brainletposter.jpg (645x729, 48K)

The water ground?

Shame they didn't do the Tek-knight story arc but I guess that wouldn't be appreciated on TV in current year.

>Biggest chad is in love for a woman twice his age and the show even tries to make her look sexy, a sexy grandma

What the homelander had with Stillwell was something you probably are very deeply involved with already, an Oedipus complex.

>what is conservation of momentum

fucking tv-show only watcher, I don't know who the Nigerian Prince is based on, but Black Noir is clearly Black Panther while Batman is Tek-Knight.
The comic makes it painfully clear that Black Noir has superhuman abilities, while Tek-Knight is one of the rare superheroes that has no superpowers only money to have the equipment to fight crime. Also, he has:
>Bat-cave
>Bat-car
>Alfred butler
>Ten-year old sidekick
>Occassionally fucks not-Catwoman
>Tek-Knight and Swingwing are considered homo-erotic
They couldn't have made this more oblivious.

Anyway thanks for the show.
It was really neat.
Please have an actual point to it.

>Why do you hate strong women? Are you intimidated?

Attached: qt313.png (560x600, 366K)

>mfw Homelander is a Trump metaphor

kek, i didn't notice that fucking remembrance pin on him before

His explanation is most likely correct. He also didn't want to try anything risky as if it failed then the bill would most certainly not pass.

The plane is doing a couple of hundred miles per hour as it's coasting to a nice steamy crash in the ocean.

He has to gradually decelerate a 120-125 ton airplane and either land it at a perfect angle on top of the water or move the entire plane to a landmass by holding on to the landing gear and the landing gear alone.

The landing gear might be okay with a taxi run or a rough landing, how well does it do when a supe is pushing as hard as he fucking can on a single brace/component of that landing gear?

Why didn't people just jump out of the door right before it lands in the water? Who needs a superhero! I mean hello?!

Attached: chair[1].jpg (1050x900, 148K)

They wouldn't need to, dumbass.
>Your seat cushion can be used as a flotation device
Why didn't they just float out into safety? Am I the only one who fucking pays attention to the security briefing?

Butcher is an embarrassing self insert for the anti-super hero counter culture. The show takes him less seriously because he was overdone in the comics and it's the better for it. He still gets plenty of shit done but the show doesn't shy away from how pathetic he is at the same time.
I'd say Homelander's mask kind of slips in public a bit too often in the show, at the race he mutters shit under his breath and his big smile slips almost immediately off despite the cameras and crowd still being on him.

That explains the raging boner she gives me.

Homelander is literally a post-911 america metaphor, just because we're nearly in 2020 doesn't mean the source material is based on Trump. Comics were even more transparent about this but jesus christ he's literally named 'HOMELANDER' like homeland fucking security.

>but the show doesn't shy away from how pathetic he is
Gee. I wonder why that is. Same reason why they are so blunt with Homelander. Frankly, I'm surprised they race-switched A-Train.
I wonder when we will ever see a mainstream TV series with a competent white man again. Probably not in my lifetime.

Why didn't everyone just jump out right before the plane hit the ground ?

I don't really get this line of thought because the men in this show do just about everything. The most Maeve and Starlight do is one '''''right thing'''' per episode otherwise they're passive and borderline extras.
Even the gender differential on ''''good people''' is even with Hughie and Starlight being the 2 sides of each story with Maeve being the only other redeemable female for the heroes where as you have big nig and frog as the two '''decent''' men with Billy being the opposing force of Homelander in terms of moral scale.

>The guy literally looks evil, he looks untrustworthy, slimey and a huge douche.
This is why women want to fuck him I assume

hey why not jump out the window and cum on the ground just before you land
the force of the cum will push you away a bit but not too much, so you land safely
might get some splashback though
so i guess the question is do you want to be dead or gay? chip chop

In English Einstein

Show Butcher is a completely new character wearing comic Butcher's clothes and carrying his name. This might've been an improvement if this was a good new character, but it isn't. He comes off as an impotent, pathetic retard with zero self-awareness or realization that he's a tool, or - for that matter - any reason for the audience to buy into his premise.

why not? Tek Knight's a faggot, people love fags

Wonder why her tits are not out.

>Homelander is literally a post-911 america metaphor
its funny cause Homelander caused 9/11 in the comics

this was a rather disappointing normie-edgy series desu

art imitates life

This show sucks. Kill yourself Amazon shills. MCU is the gold standard when it comes to hero movies and shows.

Does he have bong genetics? They don't exactly age well

It took me way too long to realize he's supposed to be early 20s, I was wondering why his co workers were treating another grown man like a kid

He's American.

Beyond the obvious /pol/ bait, I'll try to explain.
I've watched sitcoms and daytime TV since the 80s. Men have typically been portrayed as either incompetent, evil or charmingly naive blundering blue-collar dorks. Women are usually portrayed as hysterical and comically neurotic but ultimately the brains of the operation and they have superhuman abilities to balance work and family.

More recently, as in the past 5+ years or so, the portrayal of men has gone from the charming-but-dumb to the outright weak, sniveling or fundamentally damaged. For some reason they must be shown up by women in *every* way, especially physically with the trope of a petite woman beating up multiple goons twice her size being used so often that it's now the rule rather than the exception. They have brains too and only lose to a man if the man uses morally gray or outright backstabbing tactics.

Starlight is a good example. She isn't just a supe that is stronger, faster etc. than hughie which would be fine since... she's a *supe*. She's better than him in *every* way. She's morally superior, she's smarter and she's wiser. And hughie becomes her pet.
Maeve is also smarter than Homelander but she's bitter and has the wine aunt snide snips at him. Homelander himself is a child and clearly her moral and mental inferior.
It gets old. It gets older that every time we're supposed to blindly accept all-men-as-inferior by the same people telling us that representation matters and that young boys need better rolemodels.

>that remembrance pin

Except Hughie is duping her, not the other way around. She's not smarter or wiser, you're projecting that because her 'moral highground' makes her seem better than she is.
I'd say that the portrayal of men as immoral in this show is pretty tiresome but to say that they're the incompetent side is inaccurate. Hugh at least has the moral compass that the men are shown to lack but it's tied to a brutally onions self insert guy.
Homelander and Maeve isn't as one-sided as you claim because while she can snipe at him here and there the power dynamic is clearly in his favor, he forces her to accept the plane situation and she can't do anything because without him she'd be dead. Nor is she smarter than Homelander because not once does she plan shit or do anything, she sits there and lets out a line or two to hold him back from killing Starlight but overall she isn't even aware of half the shit Homelander gets up to.

>present events as if they are facts

>imgur.com/a/g526deW

Why is that guy getting so worked up over a fucking slut fucking random dudes???

calm your tits and try to improve basic comprehension
it was a forced season ending with a shitty cheap plot twist shoved in at the end to give it some dumb ass continuity and intrigue
I imagine it was the same in the comic books, but the way they built up/hinted at it was simply bad
it was like they just forgot to build it up
shit like this, without any doubt or build up or anything, really just falls as gracefully as the 100th jump scare in the most basic horror flick

>it was a forced season ending with a shitty cheap plot twist
thanks for ruining it for me user but nevertheless i enjoyed it.
also the Atrain short haired girlfriend made me bust a FAT n u t.

Hughie is a bit of a special case because he's the audience insert. He's duping Starlight because that's necessary for the show. But take a look at her reaction when she learns about it. He's also, like you say, brutally onioned.
Maeve very much is smarter than Homelander. She doesn't do anything because she's bitter and defeatist and resorts to using clever quips and snipes. That's essentially twitter radicals. Maintaining the moral high-ground in their own eyes by being sarcastic tits.

I really wanted to like this show. The power corrupts theme and don't stare into the abyss thing are great hooks to base good stories in and fighting supes is a great "subversion of expectations" which is so popular. It's a shame that they went down the same way with this show as with *every* other goddamn show on TV currently. It gets old. My expectations were not subverted. Especially not during episode 5. Jesus, could they be any more blunt about how much seething strawmanning hatred they have for white people in general and religious people in particular?
You don't want to empathize or even sympathize with any character in the show. In the comic, it was the complete opposite. This was just ideology porn made by people with an axe to grind. Imagine what they would do with Herogasm.

This.

I kinda agree with you on Maeve on her being his moral superior in the show to the point where it's eyerolling, but I wouldn't say she's smarter than Homelander. The show's Homelander is a LOT more cunning and conniving that in the comic, where he's a literal manchild. She actually outsmarts him in the comics by acting as a double agent for the boys, giving them a lot of info and blackmail material on the Seven. I don't like how she's protrayed as being "the voice of reason" for the Seven in the show though, since in the comics she was almost as big as a degenerate as the Homelander, but still had a little humanity in her. I think they should have kept the scene in the plane where Maeve kills civilians to escape the plane in the show, since it would show that she isn't a completely moral character.

screenshot this, they'll reveal it actually was rape. There's no way in fucking hell they'd allow a women to be a whore on television. Even in the comics it was rape, so any change would be retarded

Bingo.
But we can't have morally gray women. They need to be perfect in every way that matters and outshine every man they can be compared to. Their downsides must be Mary Sue "she's too pretty" type or irrelevant "she likes to drink a little too much" stuff that doesn't actually impact the story.

Attached: file.png (1366x768, 1.03M)

Hughie is relentlessly handsome. I want to kiss him relentlessly.

The writer was originally trying to come off as smart by pointing out that it's silly for superheroes to be able to lift things whilst having no surface to push off of.What the writer failed to recognise was that if a superhero could change directon mid flight, as Homelander is shown to be able to do, then they could potentially apply an opposing force to the velocity of the airplane.

tl;dr pseud writer tries to point out that physics in comic books is wrong and proceeds to get the actual physics wrong himself.

Rent?

Yeah but she wasn't a *whore* just "beside herself" and a junkie.
They probably change the rape to trickery to turn her against Butcher, blame him for "not being there" etc.

>Everyone else has one or more powers in addition to just being really strong and immune to bullets and stuff.
What other powers does Black Noir have?

>hurr durr amount propulsion needed to move a man is the same needed to stop a plane's momentum
This is your brain on MCU capeshit

>ep05

It's the most onioned episode in the whole show. That was probably the one cool scene

lol you might want to hold off on saying that until after the second season

already nutted to all of them,no joke.
if there's a porn video that involves sex for rent be sure i already busted a nut on it
>mfw when am irl landlord to 1 italian cutie and 2 other yuropean girls
>mfw when they are never short on cash so sex for rent is just a dream
i want somebody to dilate my brain .

He's really strong and immune to bullets and stuff ,but a little bit extra then everyone else.

He seemed to also have heightened agility, but that could just be a result of him actually training.
I confess I forgot about him.

shut up losers, i'll enjoy whatever god damn scene i want ok ?!

Kill yourself faggot loser

I'm not lying.

The bottom. The part of the fuselage he was immediately pushing on would probably crumple, but the entire aircraft wouldn't.

>he thinks aerospace engineers work for airlines
Kill yourself, retard.

He's effectively Superman, you fucking idiot. Superman can seemingly conjure the energy to do incredible feats out of thin air. Homelander can fly and has super strength. I see no reason to believe he can't fly around with more than his own weight.

Kek

>Coos when Butcher calls her a beauty
cute

i think the best scenes are :
>deadly ass eating pig execution
>come to mommy
>super ''can't mossad the assad''
>plane crash
>anything with frenchie

Cringe

fag

he could've kept the baby and raised her to be his own superweapon desu

So would the plane crash have killed her? Can she drown?
I mean, being strapped into a plane while it crashes can’t be worse than literally standing in front of a speeding armored car

He didn't fix the damn doooor

She was in the middle of the atlantic, I doubt she could swim thousands of miles even as a supe

yeah, and it would have torn the airplane apart, resulting in the exact same situation, except this time it would be 100% his fault

Isn't she supposed to be only a little weaker than Homelander. Doubt it would've killed her

Why the fuck did they even bring Maeve? Isn't Black Noir a good pilot , him or the Deep would'be been way better choices.

>anything with frenchie
I'm happy with they kept the Frenchie and Female shipping. They were so cute together in the comics.

Attached: she cute.jpg (968x1024, 149K)

For me, it's the McChicken

Frenchie and Female are the best characters in the comics by a long shot anyway.

Could’ve ripped the engines off and flown under it while it glides to an ocean landing.

Yeah I don't get it Superman could lift the plane and that's who this guy is supposed to be based on. But all of the sudden that's out of the range of the laws of physics in this universe. By that standard how is he flying at all?

>Superman could lift the plane
Superman projects a field of telekinetic energy whenever he flexes his muscles. Thats how he can carry things the size of mountains and why he can catch people without them breaking their spines. Google it

God the art style is atrocious

the one time the tv adaptation looks better than the source material

>Cute together in comics
And not at all in the show. They botched it so badly by trying to make the humanizing factors and comic relief into edgelord trauma.

This is a sign of autism, my friend.

I wonder if they're going to keep the Frenche got cucked storyline. Watching people joust with baguettes will be hilarious

You forgot Mesmer Joel Osment

Dont you remember from the show that when you raise a child for your own interest, that child will eventually be a psycho and will hate you ?

And the Talon, aka. not-Catwoman

Attached: d.png (247x200, 99K)

I doubt it. They seem to want only the safe kind of edge and make everything so overt.
Like how they butchered Mother's milk.

thats only if you raise males, if you raise females you get to marry them

Bit incesty, bruh

because he idolises superheroes

is Ezekiel supposed to be Guy Fiery?

AHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA

This is a fag show, all these actress never gonna be naked in The Boys

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHA

But the slightest issue would cause the plane to roll in one direction or the other. In order to keep the plane level and gliding smoothly down, he'd have to constantly go back and forth between the two wings, applying just the right force to level the plane out. Without instrumentation, how hard do you think it'd be to intuit what you needed to do to level out a plane?

That plane was fucked the second he destroyed the console.

Super Duper are actually the best FUCKINGCUNT heroes in the comic.

I hope we see them in the show.

Attached: 9876987698679876.png (439x640, 505K)

if people wonder where are the heroes that actually try to be good guys, thats the Super Dupers.

I guess my major problem with this show is that it's not exactly even handed. I still don't think it's biased completely towards giving women as much agency as men, since all the men in the show drive the plot almost unilaterally, but the depiction of the whole jesus camp seemed to be trying to balance Starlight's '''moderate christianity''' with the obvious hypocritical christian lampoon that you'd see in any hack webcomic complete with 'all homophobes actually suck dick.' The balance fails because Starlight can't humanize her christian side when being constantly portrayed as morally upstanding, the same way the show can't balance the male and female morality the way it thinks it can. It tries with Hughie and Starlight, with Stillwell and her black male boss, and even with the still nascent redemption arc for The Deep to balance the scale of Maeve being not nearly as heartless as in the comic, but the women are almost always the victim regardless of the moral situation making their ambiguity ring hollow.
I still liked it more than the comic but it's not unscathed from the climate of CURRENT YEAR, and ironically a lot of the criticism I've read for it outside Yea Forums is upset that it isn't woke enough.

The gills on The Deep are super fucking gross.

If you take her backstory away you basically fuck over the entire backstory and build up of butcher.

did The Deep get raped by that girl?

Do they belong to Vought too or are they employed by some other company?

I think they're Vought employees with low-tier powers, and no mainstream appeal.

they are employed by Vought too but they're all mentally retarded or have dumb powers, they're like the diversity of diversity hires

Sorta, but it was weird af since he could've just pushed her off with his superhuman strength.

she had a deathgrip on his equivalent of the balls and she was mounted on top of him

Is this feasible with a filet-o-fish foundation?

nah he clearly takes a look at the cockpit and makes up his mind

I thought he looked familiar, now I can't unsee.

I agree with this, he doesn't need anything to push off if he is generating his own propulsion force, which he must be doing in order to fly in the first place. He isn't technically "lifting" the plane, rather countering it's velocity with his own.

Regarding the hull being too flimsy, as people have point out, points on a plane such as the landing gear are designed to endure immense forces (such as taking the weight of a 300 ton plane landing at 500 mph). He wouldn't just fly through the hull, especially if he applied force to the landing gear apparatus.

so should I read the comic or watch the show

if you're starting at zero, just watch the show. The comics honestly not that great and its full of people eating fetuses while covered head to toe in blood because thats the art style.

Read the comic if after you're done binging you NEED more

okay, thanks friend

The comic looks like fucking shit just look at some of the images people have posted about it here

Different poster. But the plane holding together isn't the issue for me, the bigger problem would be getting it to fly straight.

You slow the plane down and nose it back up to try glide it down slowly by supporting the front landing gear right? But what happens when it rolls? What if you misjudge the force you're exerting and you pitch it too far? There's a reason the cockpit of a plane is so complicated, it's not something you can intuit by feeling it which is what Homelander would have to rely on.
