It's interesting how here on Yea Forums people are like "Haha YES! Boomer Thor is awesome!" but in reality everyone I've talked to is extremely unhappy with fat Thor. They liked Thor because he was a hunk, and they had that taken away from them. They will not react well to this.

Only virgins care about capeshit
I don’t take virgins seriously

Based

everything in endgame is shit
the only remotely good (like 7/10) capeshit movie is ragnarok

He was a memorable part of a mostly bland movie

I loved it but then again I'm not some homo crying because he's not a hunk.

You do know that he will get his shit together for the asgardians right?

No, you misunderstand, it's the women. Women are the only people who go for Thor movies. And they have been slighted. Hell hath no fury...

Fat thor was funny for a bit but he should have turned fit near the end when he said "let's kill him properly this time"

shut up faggot

Thor was not letting himself go. He was powering up to become more. A god's power may fail, but the dude abides.

Thor had the most interesting character arc honestly. You see his willpower slowly eroding as each new movie presents him with tragedy after tragedy, until it all finally collapses.

So much fucking better than Captain "I show no emotions yet at the first chance I'll fuck off to another timeline and never see any of you fucking assholes again" America.

People wanting him to "bounce back" are fucking weird. That's not how it works. Especially not in comics.

You've got be kiddin, Ragnarok is easily bottom 3 of the mcu. It takes everything bad about mcu capeshit and amplifies it by 10.

Posting chunkibois here.

that was actually planned, he was supposed to go into antman/hulks time machine but the dumb writers couldn't figure out how to make it work

it's the only one that made me laugh

Wow that's stupid.

He's just being a contrarian. Ragnarok is kino. Every other MCU movie wishes it was that.

Can't say I really saw his willpower eroding in Ragnarok, he was pretty cheery in that one.

Fat thor was unfunny, in part due to Hemsworth having no comedic talent, in part because the movie couldnt decide if Fat Thor is supposed to be the butt of jokes or a dramatic broken character, so it just kept flipflopping between moods, sometimes within a single scene. It had the making-fun-of-the-disabled effect

Reminds me of how someone in my family with mental health issues lives at home and frankly mostly in the basement for a degree of personal space, I know his life is difficult, and obviously so many movies or shows use 'you live in your parents basement' as a throwaway joke/insult. And every time I see it, takes me out because I just hope he doesn't see it too, but knowing he probably does all the time - because of course he'll relate on a deeply personal level beyond what the tired joke was worth on the show or movie. Obviously there are people who need to get their shit together, but a lot of people also actually cant, or struggle for all kinds of reasons, mental, social, society, economic, and 'living in your parents basement' has become too common of an insult for it's worth considering how hard I think it can hurt some people irl.

I think it works better this way, because otherwise it wouldn't justify the fact that with both Stormbreaker and the hammer and his various friends he could not kill Thanos.

>"AAAAIIIEEEEHHHHH!!!!!"
>"Oh god dad I can't do it! I don't have my hammer! She's too strong!"
>"I'm no ruler... I can't do it..."

Compare to the cocky prick in the first Thor.

What part? I thought a lot of the jokes were forced compared to something like GotG. It felt like it was trying to be GotG but didn't have the writing talent behind it.

>liking GotG
yeah that's gonna be a "no" to discussing with you user
those movies were worse than justice league

So you can't even name any specific funny parts in the movie.

I am not that guy but allow me to butt in to let me shock your mind user, there is no "objective tier" to Marvel movies, you can say that you don't like certain movies, backup your reasoning, hear counter points to why someone else disagree, but if you just say "you are not allowed to talk if you like X,Y,J,etc" then, boy what is the point?

This. I hated him, it was an overlong joke. I wasn’t impressed with Endgame anyway because they included shit characters with terrible casting like Valkyrie then nerfed Thor and Scarlet Witch.

you really wanna do this?
okay
Korg saying "we tried to get a revolution going but didn't print enough pamphlets so no one showed up"
you will now say that wasn't funny at all and felt forced
good job

Truth. But I boycotted Ragnarok because I’m a German woman and I’m sick of seeing black people playing our characters. Fuck Marvel for doing that to Germanic mythology.

the point is that you have shit taste and there's no point discussing with someone who's just gonna say "w-well forced joke!"
enjoy your dance off, faggot

Ragnarok is shit. Far From Homes rapes it.

I actually did not get that joke at all. Why would that be a reason why people didn't show up? You don't need pamphlets to learn about a revolution.

>why did this ridiculous situation taht goes against expectation occur?
