The OT and PT might as well be set in two different universes, and then TFA and TLJ don't match up at all, which is just going to be exacerbated by RoS by the looks of it. What a mess.

Honestly up until Rey literally called Finn "my friend" at the end of TFA I never got the impression they were friends at all. She screeches at him when he tries to save her, then he asks awkward questions about her having a bf, then they don't talk again for the rest of the movie.

Real spoiler: Finn becomes an insta Jedi after getting hit by the lightning that Palpatine called from the sky to destroy resistance ground troops. Finn wakes up Force charged and uses the Force to raise the Death Star. He is shaking like an epileptic while doing so but doesn't die like Luke. Rey fires Death Star weapon destroying Palpatine fleet. She sets up self-destruction timer to blow up the Death Star. Before it explodes, Falcon picks her up and she jumps on it the same way she jumped on the TIE. Rey gives Finn 2 kyber crystals that she saved from Death Star weapon and he makes a double bladed saber using her staff. She keeps the legacy saber.
