Durchschnittlich 510.000 Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauer entschieden sich zu früher Stunde für die Formel 1 bei Sky, sodass schon der Gesamt-Marktanteil bei starken 11,2 Prozent lag.
Noch viel besser lief es für den Bezahlsender jedoch in der Zielgruppe, wo 290.000 Fans im Alter zwischen 14 und 49 Jahren den Marktanteil auf fulminante 21,9 Prozent trieben. Das war der beste Wert, den Sky jemals mit einem Formel-1-Rennen einfuhr.
