No, women will never understand loneliness
Lul hack director saw Ghost in the Shell....
A great film if you can relate to what the characters are going through
Not really. Japan and korea especially in the cities are really devoid of emotions and real human connection.
I want to lose myself in the jewish Scarlett pussy.
ever see the episode of frasier where roz meets her babydaddy's parents and they have HUGE noses and their son got a nosejob? so she's afraid her kid is gonna have a huge nose.
literally nothing happens: the movie
Overrated.
If they had spent more time in the backstreets of the tokyo nightlife, instead of hovering around a fucking hotel, then it would be 10x better.
I love it, one of my favourite films.
amazing, one of my favourite movies. maybe it resonates with me more because i've lived in japan, i can see how some people would find it boring though.
this is one of my favourite scenes in cinema:

No, but i hope the nose of Scarlett daughter will be fine.
>t. Kenny "Ace" Chang
imagine the smell
>instead of hovering around a fucking hotel
that's kind of the point of the movie my dude
>the gaijin are a foot taller than everybody else
>the only ones without black hair
>the only ones with facial expressions and not just tight-eyed blankface
I would say they actually were the only real people
You can relate to the movie because you looked out the window?
Amazing film 10/10
I look out my window all the time, sometimes up to hours on end, so this film really speaks to me.
kek
so movie is so deep about the futility of life. like living in luxury hotel but still not enjoying it. that's deep man. i upvoted your thread
Still my favourite film this century. We'll never have movies again lads.

Kek imagine being this much of an American
That's accurate though. Even chinks acknowledge this fact.
So why set it in Tokyo? It could literally be any major city and it would have made no difference. Should have spent a lot more time actually going around tokyo at night, because that's unique. Not some faceless hotel that could be anywhere.
I liked the OST

Brainlet.
I LOVE this film. I just love it. The characters have a successful life but they don’t feel anything. They are in a big city full of people but they feel alone.
My favorite thing about this film is how human everything is: their conversations are really realistic and they act like human beings all the time. And the success they have and the fact that they already have a life is what holds them back from being happy and loving each other. So, Coppola simply shows us how a good life (Charlotte is married and has graduated and Harris is a popular actor with a family) doesn’t really mean fulfillment.
post scarjo bumbum
A lot of stuff happens
My favorite film of all time. Best watch when you’re in your 20’s and can relate to the feels.
The 'feels' never leave you.

SUNTORY TIME
i've lived in tokyo for almost a decade and for some reason i still genuinely like this movie, it's wistful kino even if sophia coppola is relatively untalented
