Do Americans really smoke cigarettes while eating at burger restaurants or is it just a film trope?
Do Americans really smoke cigarettes while eating at burger restaurants or is it just a film trope?
Smoking is outlawed in most restaurants these days, so the answer is no.
You can only smoke in bars now and bar food is shit typically
So does second hand smoke really cause cancer?
You can't smoke indoors except in your own home. Some bars and clubs, too
Have you ever been to America?
yes, there's also disco dancing
Everything bad in the world, Americans do it.
yes but getting cancer from second hand smoke is uncommon
Burger joints had cigarette machines back in the day, in the 90's smoking in restaurants was extremely common.
what's up with the pulp fiction posts today? is it just one autist who has seen it for the first time?
Reminder she’s 23 in this film
in the early 90s maybe, now its banned everywhere, even on the sidewalk outside of buildings. americans actually smoke less than many places in yuroland.
Do southern trash really do this?
>Do Americans really smoke cigarettes while eating at burger restaurants or is it just a film trope?
we used to until leftists ruined the country
Real Americans do.
Faggot Americans eat pretend meat burgers and go outside to vape afterwards.
It was normal to smoke in restaurants in the 90s. Not even american and I remember this.
I went to Japan recently and they still allow smoking inside restaurants
you can still smoke indoors in alaska they tried to ban it and natives were freezing to death outside bars
most retarded part of this movie is doing a line of coke in the bathroom and then going right out to eat afterwards
20 years ago most restaurants had smoking sections. Obviously movies compress an hour long eating session into a quick scene so the actor will smoke, and eat at the same time.
But otherwise you maybe smoke while getting your drink, and waiting on the appetizer
*you can only smoke in bars in redneck flyover states
uh... its still banned in many places in those states
>tfw you're old enough to remember smoking sections
im not even that old
anti smoking propaganda has been really effective in the US. It’s almost scary.
>white
This reverse trick won't work on me Goldberg
wrong only at 21 or older establishments. being able to smoke is usually their shtick
Im from louisiana you cant smoke inside anywhere except maybe in bars.
I remember being a kid and whenever my dad was in town he would take the whole family to golden corral and the adults would smoke between face-stuffing sessions. Disgusting food in a smoke-filled room and my dad is openly hitting on the poor barely-legal waitress while the rest of my family uncomfortably pretends to not notice. I'm pretty sure it worked once, wouldn't be the first time he banged a waitress.
To answer your question, no, not while eating. Directly before and after eating.
literally what? I’m not trolling. I’m just amazed at how strongly some americans are against smoking
Well theres not point in really doing it. Its just a bad habit that costs money for no benefit. Europoors chainsmoke so it's not like anyone there notices the stench as much as burgers.
>no benefit
that’s not true
She's very white.
What can cigarettes do that something like exercise can't
Yes, but mostly at beach beer n burger joints.
I smoke a lot (of weed) and I've never thought of smoking while eating, it must be weird.
How the fuck can you eat while you smoke, the fumes are nauseating
you can do this in europe too you do know that right?
The Japanese have no concept of self-worth or health
Last time I heard, in PA if food sales are more than like 20% of total sales, then smoking is not allowed at the bar/restaurant.
Smoking is disappearing here as well. People use snus
Not since 1950 but Europeans all subconsciously crave deaths sweet release and smoke constantly
Americans on the otherhand fall asleep with chew in their mouths
based dad
you sound like you’ve had a pretty based life
No. Nearly all establishments that I've eaten at, except for Casinos on Native American reservations, don't allow for smoking inside.
See above.
I've eaten in about 40% of the states that still allow this, and even if it's not explicitly against the establishment rules, people still go outside for a smoke.
We smoke and chew gum at the same time, too.
"snus" is a Sw*dish faggot term. Real men call it snuff.
Cigarettes can be used to treat ulcerative colitis
And? What is that too young in America?
idk who the fuck smokes qhile they're eating. But it's definitively not some attractive woman.
So can actual medicine that doesn't give you cancer, idiot. Smoking is objectively terrible for cardiovascular and respiratory health. How is this even a discussion? Do you exercise? Ever? I smoke cigs occasionally and when I smoke a lot I immediately struggle with normal cardio the next day. This shit is scientifically proven.
The question wasn't "What can cigarettes do that actual medicine can't". Exercise cannot be used to treat ulcerative colitis. Idiot.
