Umm.. at least finish the show if you're gonna shitpost, sweetie.

Not as if the ending particularly changes him being a dick

I thought he was evil because he was raised in a sterile lab with no parents like a test rat which completely fucked up his emotional development?

at least he didn't spam a shitty show on Yea Forums

>working in your self interest is evil
No, he was right about the plane, saving 6 passengers by the time the plane crashes wouldn’t be worth the backlash for all of humanity if survivors told them what happened

We have this thread every day.

Yes. Yes it is indeed evil.

Evil is a spook.

Homelander was perfectly cast, I honestly don't know if I hate to love him or love to hate him.
Truly an exceptional performance.

More people would have died if Homelander didn't intervene. He stopped terrorists and is a national hero.

mommy milk fetish because he never got mommy's milk

>White male with blond hair
>Evil
So again, why is this show based?

he's not evil

Have you never met someone who is a piece of shit just because he/she enjoys it? Someone people are just fucks. A lot of people actually.

He's evil because he was raised as lab rat instead of a human being. Fucking hell, he points it out himself at one point.

Gave terrorists Compound V knowing they'd use it to wreck up the place, but did so because it was in his self-interest. Yes, he's evil. Case closed.

Are we going to pretend A-Train wasn't a nigger and didn't kill the protagonist's gf and show no remorse?

his god damn face makes me not want to check out this show

>buuuuuhhh this representation of my race and gender is problematic!
how does it feel to become the sjw's you once mocked?

I'm usually sympathetic for redeemable characters but A-Train deserved to fucking die on that floor. The main guy killed the invisible man but A-Train killed his girlfriend AND HIS OWN FUCKING GIRLFRIEND. Plus he crippled or killed god knows how many else in collateral damage, and he's a genuine asshole, laughing about killing the first bitch and saying that shit to his brother. I hate how this show forcibly tries to get you to like shithead characters, like how they keep trying to push Aquaman as goofy comic relief, because all I can think of when I see him is how he conned Starlight into sucking his dick.

A-Train is terrible, but The Deep isn't THAT bad. He is a fucking idiot and what he did to Starlight was wrong, but everybody shits on him and he suffered enough.

Unpopular opinion: a villain doesn't need a logical motivation or a tragic backstory to be good. All he needs is charisma. Even just a little of it.
For example, Darth Vader. What's his motivation? To serve the Emperor and to turn Luke to the dark side? Not very interesting, right? And his backstory is simply laughable. Yet everybody loves Vader because he is fucking charismatic, memorable and one of a kind, he is larger than life and steals every scene he's in. You can't mistake him for anyone. You can tell exactly who he is from a single glance or a single sound. You love every moment he's on the screen and you can't get enough.
Palpatine is another example of this. As the Emperor, he is boring. An ugly old man who just sits on his ass and cackles evilly. He died, and no one cared. Come prequels, and suddenly he is one of the best characters in all of Star Wars. Did he get an interesting backstory? Hell no, we didn't know jack about his past (until EU fleshed him out), though we could surmise he studied under one Darth Plagueis, which still wasn't much. And what was his motivation? Same as before: to rule. Then why is Palpatine so beloved? Because he's a fucking charismatic character who steals every scene he's in and is fun to watch.
There you go. Motivations and backstories are good (sometimes) and make for interesting stories, but let's be honest: reality is different. Real shitty people aren't all shitty because they were bullied as kids, abandoned by their dads, had their hometown razed to the ground or whatever. More often than not, shitty people do shitty things simply because they like doing them. Because they are little sociopaths who were never challenged.

Which came first, the hypocrite or the egg?

Not to mention he loses any power he had figuratively, and later literally when he gets raped himself.

>shitty people do shitty things simply because they like doing them.
Based.

Well, the Deep got gill-raped, so maybe he's a changed man now.
