All im saying is cliff wouldnt like the movie he was in
he would tho
>turning down a free blowjob
Was he even human
He was a chad
The twist is that his self-esteem was so low that his dick was dysfunctional.
He was but you're not.
Blowjobs are just as bad as fapping. If it isn't vaginal with full intent to impregnate then it isn't worth it
What, gay?
None of them would. That's the point of the movie. They were relics who didn't fit in to or understand the new styles of movies that were being made.
To be human is to transcend pure animal instinct.
You mean like when he was savagely beating people to death?
You mean preventing a triple homicide, while filled with a mind altering substance. A true psychonaut.
Not killing enough nazis?
>implied to have either intentionally or accidentally killed his wife
>clearly had a lot of shit buried under the surface either way, to the point where he deliberately provokes co-workers to get into fights
Cliff's a low-key psychopath, they're a favorite of Tarantino's. You'll find at least one in every one of his movies - these are people who murder at the drop of a hat, sometimes with justification sometimes not, but never entirely for sadistic reasons, yet are not in the least bit affected by the action.
That just means he's even more ascended. Past human virtues and the aversion toward mortality.
No, he is very selfless
He risked his life and relationship to check on spahn, who was barely an acquaintance, to make sure he wasnt being taken advantage of
He didnt mind being Rick's stunt man and doing odd jobs, rather than being an equal, because he just liked being around his bro
When rick fired him, he didnt make it about himself or try to make him feel bad. He just told rick he was making a good plan for himself and wanted to drink with him to celebrate their friendship, even though he was fucked by having 0 job opportunities
He didnt want rick to visit him in the hospital, since he wanted rick to enjoy his night. That selfless sacrifice is what let rick get into the tate house and back into hollywood
As for the bruce Lee thing, he didnt provoke a fight, he just laughed at the notion of beating Muhammad ali. Lee was the one who kept pressing him after that
You can do all of those things and still be a psychopath. Look at how he lived his life outside his relationships with people he cared about - slumming in a shitty part of town, doesn't take care of his place, if he didn't have Rick to hang out with all day and give him things to do it's likely he would have put a gun in his mouth. Someone who is self-destructing that hard is going to relish the opportunity to unleash destructive urges on people he sees deserve it, and that's psychopathic.
He absolutely provoked Bruce, by the way, you're terrible at reading people if you think he didn't know how someone boasting like that would react to him laughing at them. Absolutely textbook to goad someone talking like that into a fight.
cumbrain
The key to Cliff is spelled out in the car ride to Spahn Ranch when he says something like "Prison's been trying to get me my whole and it's not about to for some poon tang."
Regardless of whether or not he killed his wife, he knew how lucky he was to beat the rap for her death. And he knew how lucky he was to have a job because of Rick when everybody else wanted to blackball him. He even got that he had a personality which attracted trouble. Any day outside of prison is a good day, which is why he's content with his shitty life in the mobile home.
There was this cool movie called Stuntman. it featured stuntmen but it was a movie within movie. Probably not something Cliff would like.
But perhaps people like Cliff and Rick cared about actors' appearance more than director's style
Is Roman Polanski some kind of future?
He was a cowboy, they all cowboys are at least a little fucked in the head. You have to watch Westerns to understand the movie.
But he cared his dog
Took care of his dog
Frankly I have only seen Chinatown and I tried his other movies and just couldn't go on. Any of movie or tv Cliff and Rick watched looked better than those.
I am not saying Polanski is bad but I don't think Hollywood movies changed to follow his style
That was a turbochad move
>editing in a rapidly strengthening wave isn't enough to prevent the media from saying HE DEFINITELY KILLED HIS WIFE AND QT PLAYED IT FOR LAUGHS
it was obviously a fucking accident, why is everyone so retarded. and why do retards laugh at retarded shit.
>rapidly strengthening wave
I missed that in the theater what happened?
Note that he not only kept it alive he trained and disciplined it and that takes more skill and care
cliff is holding the harpoon. as she yells at him, the sound of the wave is louder and louder and gets so loud it cuts back to the scene about him murdering his wife. people in the theater laughed at it, media took it and ran with it being sexist and cliff a murderer.
i thought the evidence was in the editing. it wasn't fucking funny, it was a freak accident.
Ahh I see. While i was watching I didn't think it hinted one way or another. And in the real life event it's based on the woman drowned she wasn't harpooned.
It's what John Wick would have done.
Actually John didn't nor did Batou in Ghost in the Shell. Batou was especially bad at this he raised his dog into a mess because they were both self indulgent sob baby they think because they have seen it all they can pet and indulge their pet without any moderation.
