I don't know. I've never seen one. Unless Enter the Dragon is an old hong kong movie. I've seen that one.

Are old John Woo movies as good as people say they are?
Judge Dredd
I don't know if i'd go as far as them, but I've always wanted to live in a huge Godfather type mansion with my wife, our kids, our parents, my brother's family etc. It would be nice if we all chipped in and lived together as a clan under one nice roof.
Depends, they have decent fight scenes and stunts but the rest of the movies tend to be fairly boring if its a martial arts film. The real problem in my opinon however is the often subpar sound. You can tell that a lot of the time they didn't even use any recording of voices on set. It does create a very unique sound of course but simply being unique isn't in my opinion always a good thing.
Most of the Jackie Chan ones. And then there are gems like 36 Chambers of the Shaolin, The Crippled Masters or Kung Fu vs. Yoga.
They have genuinely fantastic action sequences. Same with Jackie Chan films.
Bruce Lee movies were never good. The good stuff is the shaw Brothers wu xia movies.
Looks like a typical shitty building why does it get a special name
what held up these buildings? steel frame? or were they just layers of haphazardly-built masonry or wood frame or something?
Basically it was a small section outside of Hong Kong proper where the police and government basically lost control and it just developed into one of the most densly populated places on the planet as people who was trying to run from the government all went there. Its basically one of those places that seemed like science fiction come ot live.
hk movies were ahead in the 90s regarding action. it was interesting how once you were in the know, you knew there was some good shit available somewhere that rivalled hollywood but it was not obvious to know what is what, not everything was available, bootlegs on vhs were rare and you had to be a special kind of dedicated nerd to have em etc then in the late 90s it all ended rather quickly when hollywood finally made some moves to get in there and get whats good made in usa, with various success, and idk it seem that culture in general caught on and absorbed it all so these days i presume most of it is not really SHOCKINGLY COOL AND STYLIZED like it was, still very enjoyable but the mystique is gone and we got used to a lot of it.

If by science fiction you mean the third world, place looks like your average slum where cops get paid off or don’t bother stepping foot in anyway.
Old school Jet Li are fantastic. The stunts and fights in stuff like the Once Upon a Time in China or Taiji are good even by today's standards. Also Fist of Legend is one of the rare cases where the remake is better than the original.
Honestly really interesting
The difference is that at the time the walled city had the highest population density of any area on the planet. If you blew it up to 1 square mile, the walled city would be able to house more people that the entire city of LA at the time.
yes and no
they're fun to watch but not necessarily rewatch. I like drunken master a lot though.
