The West should make an effort to make reductions. Take into account we are a lot more developed than they are. While they definitely need to reduce emissions and pollution significantly, it is a bit ridiculous to tell them to do it and make no effort ourselves. Also the average American is far worse than the average Indian in regards to emmisons. The population density is far lower however.
