Stopped watching halfway through episode 6 because it was boring. I read a lot of comments online saying to stick with it for the first few episodes because it gets way more interesting at episode 4 or so when something major and shocking happens. I assume they're murdered for the childhood friend being set up as a love interest being murdered by a kid, which isn't major or shocking for anyone who's ever read a YA novel before. Twist violent deaths happen in YA media all the time.
