Everybody's gotta eat. Brie wasn't doing great financially before the deal with Marvel. And that doesn't prevent her from making movies that she likes.

I dont know what's the deal with Yea Forums and Godard. He's universally despised on here. All these pages and pages of threads about capeshit, boring messes like Avatar, and all that crap. Somehow, French new wave is where the bucks stop. I liked Une femme est une femme, Pierrot le fou, and Alphaville. I thought they were poignant and crude, while honest and charming. Didn't blew my mind but not every film ia supposed too. When you understand French maybe they are more enjoyable, obviously, like every writing when appreciated in its original version. Helps that my gf is a petite half-French girl with freckles and eyes like these 60s beauties.
Well, why does every thing as to be about who's or what's "better"? Is discussion on film supposed to be a cinematic talent power-level contest now? You can be critical without having absolute rankings.
