Baseball reference for score lookups, really any historical data that's not explicitly statistics, though it's fine for that too. Fangraphs has a wealth of stats and custom sortable tables and charts. Baseball savant has some peek-under-the-hood stuff for players using Stattrac/BIS info. There's more, but that's a good start. Lastly I'd recommend something like a site or script that analyzes home runs against all parks to measure the "cheapness" (if any) in a homer. Get a understanding of high-level stats so you know what goes into calculating them as opposed to what's a good or bad number.
