It's good, but it may not fit your tastes. I personally found it a little too edgy in places, but overall it was a solid experience. It's nothing like any of the other capeshit on the market, and it's more similar to Watchmen than anything else (though obviously it's not nearly as good as the comic)

I was expecting something closer to the comics and was disappointed, it's not bad, I just liked the source material much better.

Mallory is an old lady in the show, and she's in a couple scenes but really just glossed over, which is too bad.

That's one of the big plot points in the comics, Vought and/or the government covered up the colossal fuckup, except it was their version of 9/11 instead of some random flight. The black box recordings are part of a massive blackmail cache along with a bunch of other stuff. It has another pretty sweet payoff too. The fighter pilots who got called off so Homelander and crew could fuck everything up are part of the force who annihilate pretty much all the flying supes near the end.

Homelander is pretty good there are some legitimately funny moments in the series.

The first few episodes start strong then as it progresses a great deal of the story is predictable and takes place more or less the way you'd think it would while still being an enjoyable watch.
The series ending was expected but well done. Laser eyes to Mommy superhero was pretty sweet.
Its not an award winning show but still fun to watch 7/10 will prolly watch the second season sometime whenever its released and I get around to it.
