I need to seed on a site for ratio but nothing I download from there lets me seed at all. Meanwhile if I just download some random torrent from piratebay I can seed just fine.

Most trackers these days use "bonus points" system to combat this problem where it counts towards earning points as long as you're actively seeding and then you can use the points for upload credit.

yeah, a number of private trackers allow the original uploader almost exclusive seeding, but if you grab a couple of big blockbusters when they first come out, you might be able to bump your numbers

It's an inherent design flaw of the "muh ratio" shit on trackers. It's a closed loop. You can't have everyone having equal or greater upload than download, because the upload has to go to someone else's download.

I used to get around this with a piece of software that would fake my upload amount. It could get you b& if you did obvious shit with it like setting your upload rate to something ridiculous in the MB/s range, but if you played it safe you could end up with really strong faked seeding ratios without anyone catching on.
Not sure if this still works though.

I use to not to because I thought that was what would attract the feds but now that I've bought a vpn I do. I usually do a 1.5 ratio unless it's for something that I really like that's pretty obscure/hard to find because I want as many people to experience the things I like as possible.

I only watch stuff on Netflix(TM) and Youtube(TM) Red that I paid for, because Yea Forums told me that only incel losers who need to have sex don't watch movies through these services.
