This might be a long shot, but I'm trying to find a show/movie I remember watching back sometime between 1997-2001.
I think the main character was heading to this brothel to ask a few questions, get answers from someone. This wasn't an ordinary brothel though, all the dancers and prostitutes were holographic, and patrons would put on something like a vr headset, but could physically interact with them.
It was a futuristic setting, somewhat cyberpunk, but the main thing is the entrance of the brothel was a giant stripper with her knees on the ground, her head flung back with her hands in her hair, and the doorway was her crotch.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? It's animated, and I think I remember watching it on telethon late night sometime during the years i mentioned. I say those years because I'm pretty sure it was on around the same time telethon was playing spawn the animated series, which was 1998ish
This sounds either like AI: Artificial Intelligence, Minority Report or that movie where Bruce Willis had to get out of his pod, in a society where everyone lived in pods, vicarious through android replicas of themselves.
