skyrim didn't have the same immersion and sense of wonder that oblivion had. Oblivion felt like a true world. you could get lost for ages in one little part of the map and your curiosity was rewarded. skyrim was just like a series of maps that all used the same textures and objects and were completely empty. the locations had no character or charm
