No the writing just sucks. The episodes used to be them doing silly antics and an overarching plot in each episode. Now they're just quoting as many Yea Forums terms as possible. Season 13 (the most up to date) is just them saying beta cuck over and over again. It aged like shit even though the season itself is not old. It has them still doing fuck blumph lol. It's God awful.

was s13e2 "The Gang Escapes" an old script? it was genuinely one of the best episodes of the show while the rest of s13 was god awful garbage
