Is this any good?
Oldboy
Yes.
Now go before somebody posts spoilers.
Yes now go watch it before it gets spoiled
you should go watch it before someone spoils it for you
>Most famous live-action manga adaptation is a korean movie
kek
Yes. It's very enjoyable and you should watch it before the contrarians arrive to shit all over your enjoyment of a good film.
I watched it back in 2006 and thought it was average. Maybe because I grew up watching Hong Kong movies in the 90s and the audience in white countries haven't so their experience was different.
Its good
So this guy was kidnapped and confined in a room for years then they released him. He found out the man behind this scheme was some rich guy who held a grudge against him because our protagonist saw him having an intimate moment with his sister and talked to everyone about it. Then the sister had an obsessive fear that she might be pregnant with her brother's kid and killed herself. It was not even an interesting story.
it's too grindhouse gore exploitation for my liking.
It was based on a manga. So you'll notice it's comic-book like and can be weird and confusing.
It was also predictable. I had thought that the young adult woman might be his own daughter (because he talked to his on the phone kid before he was kidnapped, duh) so it wasn't much of a twist at all.
What's with your tripfag name?
There's no tripcode.
9/10
Its great
It's good, but straight after it put on Oldboy remake, it gets too much shit for no reason
thanks for perpetuating the stereotype of namefags being the one of the lowest animals on the filth pit of 4channel.
>Most famous live action manga
Its Alita battle angel
That movie was terrible and flopped like it deserved to
>for no reason
Yeah, for no reason. It's just the original in English, if not better. Don't go off your head because you like the original either
