Why'd he have to die bros?
On another note. i tried to get some of my coworkers to watch pulp fiction and they said it was boring. they weren't zoomers either but practically boomers.
Tarantino films ranked:
1.Inglorious basterds
2.Reservoir Dogs
3.Django Unchained
4.Pulp Fiction
5.Kill Bill
(I haven't seen his 4 other films)
There are some pretty boring parts of the film. I can never get into that film because some parts are pure kino and some parts are boring as fuck
Fuckk off Redditor
1. Reservoir Dogs
2. Pulp Fiction
3. Jackie Brown
4. Kill Bill: Vol. 1
5. Django Unchained
6. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
7. Kill Bill: Vol. 2
8. Inglourious Basterds
9. Hateful Eight
what parts? the only one i can of is when bruce willis character has a flashback as a kid but even then its short. i also hated his girlfriend. was she special in the head?
The whole second act is garbage, and the non-linear plot is just plain dumb.
his best character in years
While his acting is bad, it is entertainingly bad.
It is amazing how he has retroactively made his good films look worse because of his newer movies. With his 90's movies there was an assumption that Tarantino was trying to say something a little bit profound, using violence and exploitation narratives as a vehicle for bigger ideas. But...nope. In reality he was just making a 90's movie and has later movies have shown he is obsessed with being black, obsessed with victim narratives (not whites though), and he has a complete disinterest in anything wholesome like a happy family (the Bride gets her daughter, but at the cost of killing Bill). His films are all sterile as a result. He creates movies for teenagers, but with the taste of a nostalgic boomer. He is creating movies for himself, for his own gratification, to the point I wouldn't be surprised if he masturbated to his own movies and used them as a form of sexual mischievousness. Like one big joke he feels he is pulling over on the mass audience. He has completely lost any sense of being an indepedent filmmaker, and is instead a flacid filmmaker interested in sterile characters leading sterile lives, based on hollywood magazine column topics. Him directing Star Trek will be the nail in the coffin to any doubt that he is a 'master' storyteller. He will forever be firmly routed in schlock genre with the likes of Stephen King.
you won't be saying that after seeing this

shut up faggot you're ruining my thread but thanks for the bump though
Hateful Eight is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. All those outstanding character actors either a) reading that god awful dialogue, or b) doing nothing. Also I'm glad he filmed in 70mm for a movie that takes place inside a fucking hotel lobby.
The non-linear plot makes for a great climax with the Jules in the diner scene. Otherwise it would end with Bruce Willis riding away on his motorcycle which would be lame.
This sums up QT pretty good. People thought his movies had a message.
Turns out he was just recycling (stealing) shit he thought was cool from movies he liked and cramming them all together to make something 'dope' so that the cool kids would like him.
good post user
The part with mia and vincent talking to each other in the diner is horribly acted and not funny or interesting at all. bruce willis' character and his girlfriend
Kill bill is still his best work. The only flaw of the movie was the wedding rehearsal in Vol. 2.
i only like inglorious basterds because of the bar shootout scene and when that bitch in the white dress got shot and killed. fuck i hate that bitch and i don't know why
I find it ironic that this fucking essay could literally be dialogue from a Tarantino movie. Its trying that hard.
Lucy Liu is also unwatchable
Hateful Eight > Django Unchained
damn white people filled with ketchup
>t. Faggot
sneeds feet and skeet
Because he was lowlife wop trash
You're crazy. She has one of the best scenes in vol. 1
agree with , one reason i like the nonlinear structure is that sometimes, if it's been a while since i've watched the movie, his death surprises me since he's alive at the end
garbage take that's not even a take because you wasted your time and mine by writing so much without making a single point
watch it again, it's alright. even though it's literally a movie, hateful eight is theater, and as a play it's pretty solid
oops, meant , not ..
also wrong wrong wrong
Once upon a time is his most indulgent movie to date. I swear, there was a shot
with like 4 pairs of feet on screen and nothing else.
