The best of non-professional darts compete at the iconic Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green for the inaugural WDF-branded World Darts Championships. In a change to how it was done under the BDO, the last working day of Lakeside week has all the men's and women's quarter-finals together, and both tournaments will see first-time champions crowned on Sunday evening.
Men's highlights today include the Benelux battle between #1 seed Brian Raman and record-breaking Richard Veenstra, the Franco-Belgian fight with #2 seed Thibault Tricole against Belgium's Andy Baetens and manic Cameron Menzies faces current WDF #1 James Hurrell, Women's highlights include Aileen de Graaf against Beau Greaves, surprise package Priscilla Steenbergen faces Kirsty Hutchinson and Australia's Tori Kewish plays Lorraine Winstanley.
The tournaments will be broadcast live on Quest and Eurosport in the UK, on Eurosport and Discovery+ throughout Europe and on the WDF’s YouTube channel for international audiences outside of Europe.
The men's quarters are the best of 7 sets (first to 4) and the women's quarters remain the best of 3 sets (first to 2). Women's matches greentexted like old OP use to do.
