>mfw the radical new form of government Gadaffi was fighting for for decades against the West was basically what Switzerland has had for decades and neither side seemed to notice
i remember i was surprised that he got the bit about russia almost 100% right, usually they have no clue about what's happening here. but not in the british documentaries, british ones are always very insightful for some reason.
what did he say about russia
>Meanwhile at a council meeting in Staffordshire, two people were about to change the course of world diplomacy forever
I watched this documentary and didn't understand fucking anything. I still don't know what it's about. How do I stop being a brainlet?
play puzzle games
fuck off MI6
Hypernormalisation was just post-modernist tripe, only effective in arousing intrigue through trivial creativity
Tell me; what overarching message did you take away from it?
Can you tell me what this was about? What does hypernormalisation even mean lol
It's nothing. Genuinely nothing. Hypernormalisation was probably some government A/B test. It's shady.
The future is going to shit
it means the world around you is fake, but you are so used to it you can't see it, because you don't know the alternative and everything seems so "normal". hence the hypernormalisation
accelerated normalization of cancers into society through the media
what puzzle games can I play to be smart?
is the trap that only dumb people would ask this question?
You can't, especially if you are over the age of about 20. IQ is 80% heritable, sorry bub. One of the aspects of being intelligent is realizing that the lie that people are equal is a kike scam.
The real black pill is All Watched Over By Machines of Loving Grace
Spoiler There is no such thing as free will
nope its just more crap from a crap director. and its from england. ignore twice.
Hypernormalisation is when you get people like stephen colbert complain about trump every night because it gets views and it brainwashes people.
Brits have experience with Russian oligarchs, London is flooded with their dirty money
and thus op proved he was straight but that was a fantasy. MY BABY DON'T LOVE ME NO MORE, MY BABY'S NOT THE SAME AS BEFORE
literally anything, start small. just do something like sudoku or picross and work your way up the difficulties of those. the point isn't to get smart, but just to keep sharp. do a little every day, or at least a few times a week. eventually you'll get bored of those and seek slightly more complicated puzzles and the cycle continues.
...
>the blue pill is to love Disney/Marvel
>the red pill is realizing there's something wrong with the world and blaming niggers, spics, women, (((them))) or whatever to become a lolbertarian and hate le postmodernism
>the black pill is realizing the world is fucked by economical forces that infected all the levels of society and media and change how people connect with each other and see themselves. It's not a single enemy but full chaos
The objective truth is that the internet has broke society and the only way out is the impossible task of breaking billions of people's addiction to it.
Seething samefag
>and then something happened that nobody could predict
Curtis is entry level
>archive footage intensifies
Based and truthpilled
The internet should have never been anything more than a tool for academics and niche weirdoes to play around with. The common man never needed 24/7 access to an infinite stream of useless information, puerile distractions and chances to despair over the state of their own lives by comparison to the rich and the beautiful, and now that it's calcified into the bedrock of people's lives the damage can't be easily undone
Keep calm and increase entropy
The only way out is to turn it off. People are too engrained into it, people under the age of about thirty don't even know any different. It would be like giving up running water to them, they regard it as a basic right.
There is a likelihood, though obviously not proven, that the US government has a kill switch for the whole thing. Like they can just turn it off. Someone has to flick that switch.
Glad I'm not the only one who identified Curtis' work a neoliberal progaganda
Still love his work though
>(((economical forces that infected all the levels of society and media)))
This movie is so fucking blackpilled even Curtis himself can't talk about it openly in his interviews because people are usually so shocked and are so scared to accept the truth. Brilliant movie honestly, very underrated.
how did he stumble upon this obscure youtube video of little girls dancing. Is adam curtis a pedophile?
I found hypernomilsation kinda comfy in a way. however the century of self is absolutely terrifying
century of the self
its his best documentary desu
you misspelled Fox News
Conspiracy films for bluepilled types
Based and redpilled.
But seriously, Ted was right, except he should have been targeting the private sector and not university jerkoffs
Yeah don’t want that shit if your are happy with life. It depressed the shit out of me. That part about how we are just basically living in feedback loops. Horrifying.
Is this the one where it turns out "computers did it"?
No the one where he explains how we gave the banks control of our government.
normalfags are inherently firmly attached to their egos. this has completely changed the dynamic of the internet over the past 10 years. where as it used to be largely (not completely because you still had myspace etc) a place where outcasts would come to discuss things and interests that they couldn't in daily lives due to being surrounded by disinterested norms and used to internet as an intellectual playground, the normalfag's approach to using the internet is something rooted in ego. where the user cannot discern that the internet is something that is an alternate reality space but rather an extension of reality. the normalfag bounces back and forth information between themselves and the screen that creates an endless feedback loop. where as most people who used to use places like Yea Forums were fully cognisant and self aware enough to not treat any of these digital playgrounds with sincerity and had a humorous passive detachment to life and didn't allow it to have a fundamental effect on their nature. the internet to a mind that is not inquisitive and playful is nothing but a black hole. who knows exactly where this will lead. but I know one thing for sure. places like Yea Forums are no where near as intelligent and rational as they used to be. thoughtful posts have given way to mindless insults and spouting of mass memes, that are all ego driven. the fact that the majority of Yea Forums can't even conceive of someone who is largely apolitical when this place used to be the most apolitical place in the world is quite terrifying
If you didn't post such an unweilding block of txt people would read your post.
It was worth reading.
I've also noticed this. I also notice younger people (zoomers) seem to have trouble distinguishing between memes and reality.
Realized this reading Godel, Escher, and Bach: Eternal Golden Braid in high school. Everything is a feedback loop on a limited spectrum of stimulation.
That's not the conclusion I came to upon reading that book
This.
I find Adam Curtis documentaries entertaining, but they're documentaries and inherently subject to the narrative of the director. They're creative works which leave you little in the end, other than maybe knowing some more names and moments in history.
Stop watching documentaries.
they're all shit.
unless they're Herzog's work. he has no agenda. He just observes.
