fun
It was good. The sequels were dumb. I expect Amazon to turn it into a series eventually.
ooo, i love a good monosyllabic movie
last one i saw was SAW
should I watch the Sphere before the Cube?
Based, haven't seen the sequels though. Also, Circle was entertaining aswell.
>the retard was the good guy the whole time
who knew?
personally i enjoyed triangle better over circle.
Square beats them all, to be fair.
It used to annoy me how few characters actually died from traps.
Preddy good. Plus, it's got that qt Ezri Dax in it.
Yes followed by Triangle.
the best original content to ever air on the sci-fi channel
I didn't watch the sequels but I heard there was a plot twist. What was it?
test
An employee of the cube saves a woman from it and they turn him into the retard in the first movie.

My 3D geometry is better than yours.
Hypercube is my personal favorite. The spinoff, circle, is good too
>there is lost footage of the outside of the cube and it's supposed to be an alien world, but it was cut after test screenings and the director won't ever release it
it's a great movie, I like the dingy aesthetic of the first one.
Phone Booth is great
>The Interview (1998)
Kino
>Infinity Chamber (2016)
Strange but has redeeming qualities. acting is wonky.
>Phone Booth (2002)
Kino
>Exam (2009)
Great up until the twist with the Glasses. Then it got dumb as shit and retroactively ruined the rest of the film.
I couldn't stand any of the characters then I realized that's pretty realistic.
Watched all 3 of them half a year ago and I already forgotten that.
>Exam
I remember I liked it as a teen and tried to rewatch it recently. I turned it off after like 20 minutes because of course the one absolute cunt had to be the white dude.
>The game (1997)
Not even close to being a "room" film but I liked it (actually I just watched it yesterday). Was cool to see that the 100% completion t-shirt in GTA Vice City is from a movie (this one).
phone booth was wildly entertaining and i thought you missed Buried but i managed to see it before posting
-Bad acting but a neat premise and a neat set. They did a good job considering their shoestring.
-It has a lot of surface-level similarities to Alien. But there's so many of them, that they add up to some depth.
-I make autistic posts about the primes and how Leaven really, really should have been able to figure out the new math thing at the end of the movie -even considering how strung out she was.
Add 10 Cloverfield Lane. Despite being part of the rerarded Cloverfield series this one was actually pretty good.
Pretty good film, worth a watch, entertaining throughout and nice to look at. The scene with the retard and the room where they couldn't make a sound made for some good tension as well.
Also Leaven is very cute
It's retarded.
Fuck I remember watching Phone Booth back when I was like 9 on TV and loving it so much. Insanely memorable. Haven't seen it since and somehow remember most of it.
how many are there in the series? I only know about the one with the big godzilla thing.
>Hypercube is my personal favorite
Sphere was better
How is europa report a room film?
ignore me, I thought Europa report was minority report
Cube 1 was great
Cube 2 was one of the most retarded movies ive ever seen
enjoyed both, tho
I liked it. My friend's dad was in it, he's the guy who gets his face melted off.
minority report isn't a room film either user
do things like Life (2016) and 127 hours (2010) count as room movies? life spans several rooms, but it's 1 enclosed system like Saw, and 127 hours never leaves the rock
i've only watched the first, enjoyed it a lot. heard the sequels were shit though
What about Kajaki (Kilo Two Bravo)? Almost the entire film is set in that one ditch.
So Dark City?
kek
>Life (2016)
no otherwise event horizon and alien would count
>127 hours (2010)
no because it's outside
I loved this movie. The concept was really unique and entertaining
Good. Personally I like the "it's a retarded government project that no one knows what to do with but we have to use it cause we built it"
Your friend's dad played Mike hammer from the red green show???
what about cube zero
I liked cube zero well enough. hypercube was awful though
much more bleak this way. ayyy lmao would have just been gay
>knock out the crazy black guy
>use genius tard to get them to pick the right door for 20 minutes
>black guy still somehow shows at the last room
fucking how?
a combination of luck and hearing them?
i dunno.
two.
Great watch
