DANIEL JONES JUST FUMBLED THE BALL AGAIN!

yeah but i think penning is easily a favorite for the saints. apparently the jets really loved this kid at the senior bowl, and i would probably expect anything. penning is raw also, but he just pancakes the shit out of players. could be really good as well.

There are a lot of good OT prospects the Saints can get after Penning, they are set at OT with lots of good options, which is why the moved up.

raimann and faalele are very similar but they are in the same mix as Petit-Frere, Kinnard, Tyler Smith, Abraham Lucas, Rasheed Walker depending on what OL scheme you run and what you want in your OL. This is a really good OT class for people with late 1st and early 2nd round picks. If you like one who is already a pass blocking master, Lucas is your guy. Jets want a RT, Tyler Smith is getting a lot of love as an elite RT

As for the Jets, their strategy is going to be interesting with pretty much four first round picks (4, 10, 35, 38)
I'm buying into the insider reports that the Jets are looking for safe-high floor prospects because they need so much help they can't be taking chances on guys like Thibs and Walker (of those two I like Thibs best as Jet just bc he wore green in college). But I like the idea of the Jets going

4 - Icky/Neal/Cross or Sauce Garner
10 - Jermaine Johnson (who I love and will be jealous of whoever gets him, he's a high floor prospect)

Then get the WR at 35 with someone like Christian Watson, Jahan Dotson, Skyy Moore, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert etc

user you still here?

No that was me, I was clowning on myself for a drug conviction 10 years ago after knocking a couple back because I recently got a job in the financial industry which requires a drug test and fingerprinting which reminded me of that incident. After some further discussion my mother internalized this as I was attacking her because mommy and daddy didn't get a big shot lawyer to represent me. Voices were raised, arguments were had, fists were driven into the table. I was in the wrong for raising my voice, but more importantly not skirting the issue at the first sign of trouble.

before he went black panther there was a feature about how he was raised by the white side of his family in a perfect little suburban neighborhood and he had a pet turtle and he'd draw the logo of his opposing team on lettuce and feed it to the turtle in the yard in his polo shirt and the family would laugh and smile.

deep inside he won't be happy until he's living in a McMansion on a cul-de-sac and spending Thursday nights at the Country Club and golfing on the weekends with his neighbor the doctor, eating mayonaise sandwiches and listening to Dave Matthews Band in his Jeep Grand Cherokee.

What’s the point of 5 year contracts for first round picks if they just kvetch after year 2 or 3 for more money? Seriously?

>conviction 10 years ago
>mommy and daddy
How old are you? You live at home still

honestly would be a bad decision by the 49ers if they traded Deebo to a desperate team.
dude has been injured the majority of his career and had one good year this past season. it's risky giving a dude like that a bunch of money

*wouldn't be

Conviction is the wrong term, I took a first offenders plea. I'm 28, I don't live with my parents. I have an apartment in the same state as them 2 hours away. I'm up here to visit because I'm in the lame duck period of when I quit my last job to when I start my new one

then a S at 38 as there are a good clump of really good safety prospects to pick from there, and the Jets will be getting A+ draft grades from everyone

their best draft is hoping for KT to fall, and then snag him at 4. if he isn't, walker or sauce. this draft has so many edge rushers that i would be shocked if they neglect that need.

speaking of All Along the Watch Tower, although Dylan himself said that Hendrix's version (1968) is perfection, I like Dylan's version (also 1968) better

>their best draft is hoping for KT to fall, and then snag him at 4.
Yeah people really eat up the KT hype, just like they did with the Jadeveon Clowney hype. But after Clowney you could have had Khalil Mack or in the 2ndR guys like DeMarcus Lawrence. I can't remember a draft where the "KT" of that draft ending up being the best prospect ended up being the best edge rusher prospect you could have taken

i think that you also can get a solid edge rusher in walker (very versatile), or a guy like johnson who easily would work well on a team like the jets with carl lawson back. all depends on what they like. i still feel inclined to believe they want a WR somewhere, just matters where. hell, even if they take penning, i'm fine with that because they've given more of a shit about the offensive line in the first two years of wilsons career than the past decade with smith petty and darnold

STILL PEANUT

until Daniel Jones shows me something or the Giants get a new QB, my love for the NYC teams is currently 99% Jets/1% Giants, and this is the first time I've ever liked the Jets... and there have many Giants teams I've liked in the past

If the Giants had to only pick between one or Walker or Thibs, I hope they get Walker as I can visualize him being great for the Giants, but can't that see as much with Thibs (and can't see it THAT much with Walker either)

But for the Jets? I'd prefer, if it's only between those two I hope they take Thibs because your teams colors are important, how can you be fired up about your team if you're not a huge fan of the colors? I am not a fan of wearing green in sports (except the time I played for a school called St Pat's and we had an Irish mascot). But Thibs? He was the #1 recruit and CHOSE to go to a school that wears Green. Also, your team mascot is hug. Would suck to play for a team with a mascot you don't like ("Jets' to me, unless I was a WR like "Turn on the jets" Tyreek, I'd like it, but we are talking about a pass rusher). Thibs CHOSE to play for a team called the Ducks, which is even worse than the Jets and both "stuff that flies" names

"Oakland" always sounded lame in front on an NFL team name, too

If Daniel Jones is so terrible then why did he throw 24 touchdowns in 12 games as a rookie (On a pace that would have broken the rookie TD record had he played all 16 games)?
Why has he been among the best deep ball quarterbacks in the league year over year?
Why did he become the first rookie QB in NFL history to have three games with four touchdown passes and no interceptions?
Why is he among the record holders for the most touchdown passes (5) in a single game by a rookie quarterback?
Why was he one of the best quarterbacks in the league last year in terms of tight window throws?
Why did he rally his team from down 10 in the fourth quarter against the Saints to win in overtime in the Superdome, a place where opposing teams aren't supposed to win because >muh crowd noise?
Why have his fumbles and total turnovers gone down every year?
Why has he already surpassed other quarterbacks who were ranked higher than him like Darnold, Rosen, Haskins, Lock, etc.?
Why has he done all this despite playing for a mediocre career coordinator (Shurmur) and the single worst offensive coordinator in the league (Garrett) on a chronically mismanaged, nepotism-riddled franchise that hasn't had a functional offensive system or O-Line play in 10 years?
Despite one of the worst defenses in Giants history in 2019 and the 2020 team leading the league in drops that were deemed the receivers' fault?
Despite having a supporting cast of injury-prone players, drop artists, and all-time free agency busts?
Why was it reported that his new coach, the most-coveted offensive-minded coach in football this hiring cycle, "loves" him and didn't throw him out like trash when he and his GM easily could have?

Why is it so easy to dispel all the bad things said about Daniel Jones with just an ounce of observation and critical thinking? And why are smartasses in the media and on this board so incapable of it? How come everyone who actually knows what they're talking about is wrong and you're right?

I can't wait for the debate over who got the better prospects between NYG/NYJ at #4/#5. Since 1981 when NYG got Lawrence Taylor #1 overall, the NY teams have only both picked Top10 the same draft 7 times (3 in the last 25 years)
>2019 - 6 Daniel Jones /10 Quinnen Williams
>2018 - 1 Sam Darnold / 2 Saquon
>2015 - 6 Leonard Williams/9 Ereck Flowers
