it feels like the show needs a bigger budget, probably half of it went into karl urbans pockets. while the foundation is there, the show is filmed very boring and uninteresting. most action scenes are incredibly dull. just rewatch queen maeves "fight scene" during the earlier episodes. maybe they could have had avoided that by cutting the season 2-3 episodes shorter.
