The only good talk show I’ve seen is Dick Cavett. The rest is yawn-inducing boomershit or liberal propaganda.

Because most Americans are lame and unfunny. We like these late night shows not for comedy but because they promote the illusion that we, the audience, are part of a celebrity's life. We enjoy the in-group laughter at nothing. In fact, it's better if it's not really funny at all so we don't have to think about it. Just tell us when to laugh and smile on cue so that we know when we're supposed to feel good about stuff and what things we're supposed to like.
