>“Throughout filming, we started to feel like she and (Steve) shouldn’t get together, and that she’s gay,”
Why do they keep doing this ? There was no logical reason at all to make Robin gay, it didn’t relatively advance the plot in any way, Steve is now just a friend zoned cuck and it wasn’t like he was a social loser before for it to be significant to be best friends with a girl now. It just gave a big middle finger to anyone who was invested in Steve’s story arch.
It blows my mind that a supposedly professional production team can start shooting a season without having the entire season scripted out ahead of time.
Xavier Lopez
Is this show worth watching? I've heard good things but by the sounds of things I will only get invested in season one and then have to sit through 2 seasons of crap to get any conclusion.
Jaxon Brown
> it didn’t relatively advance the plot in any way just like any of the other romances advanced the plot? Shut the fuck up, you're being brainwashed by this website.
Jason Powell
Eleven and Will had a whole subplot devoted to them, Joyce and Hopper had a thinner subplot but still time devoted to it.
Wyatt Walker
they already hinted at the end and in a few interviews since that they’re going to retcon it and have robin admit she was only pretending to be a lesbian for attention
Samuel Harris
Now imagine if she started out gay, then halfway through decided to turn her straight for no reason. Both choices have no explanation but only one of them would create show-destroying uproar. This is why humanity deserves what's coming to it.
Liam Stewart
And how precisely did they advance the actual plot?
Julian Robinson
I concur with your post, Robin being gay ruined the entire show for me, I am done
Bentley Evans
I don't really care. If they'd gotten together they'd just fall out with each other next season for the sake of drama. They're better off as friends.
Christopher Ramirez
daily reminder that the higher ups of this series are pedophiles
Other romances on the show actually hold some weight. Eleven and mike is important to the story, joyce and hopper was important, even nancy and jon hold some weight. You're simply wrong bud. Making her lesbian at the last second was pointless. The writers just pulled a big "fuck you, steve" for no reason and you're too brainwashed to see it.
Grayson Powell
Everyone in media must either be racemixing or a fag. Nothing normal can ever be shown, except as the villain.
Luke Morales
oh child. they're waging an ideological war against the cultural hegemony of sexual normalcy. they want to infect children with the idea that being gay or trans is cool and special. It's an attack on christian values and on the institution of the family. They want to make us all weak and to remove any trace of our culture's previous strength, and that requires hijacking our archetypes and tropes in order to rewrite the social narrative of what is permissible and virtuous. Now, family is lame, heterosexuality is so last century, normalcy and tradition is oppressive. They will rip out our culture from under us and try to replace it with their own diseased programming until we destroy ourselves and all that's left is them.
>Throughout filming Like fuck, they didn't even have a fucking script Jesus
Mason Miller
It also makes Maya's character look selfish. She can see all season he's pining after her, flirting with her, trying to woo her. Instead of just telling him she's not interested (doesn't even need to say Gay) she lets him look like a fool all season only to reveal she's some lipstick lesbo who was mad her crush liked Steve.
My guess is that Netflix sent notes that noted to the producers that according to their Netflix contract all shows appearing on the network must feature at least one LGBT character.
Jaxson Perez
>joyce and hopper was important, even nancy and jon hold some weight name one instance where either of these romances actually had any effect on the plot at all. Oh wait, you can't because they only exist to further the character development of the characters involved and that's exactly what the robin/steve relationship is. Steve further distancing himself from the highschool jock womanizer and robin becoming her own character. You really are an absolute cuck self-inserting into steve and living vicariously through two characters written by a pair of old men and when it doesn't go the way you'd want your own life to go, you can't stand it. You're pathetic.
Gabriel Cox
>We needed the LGBT quota filled but our polls are indicating that our "Will being gay" test slip is not paying off
Owen Peterson
They should have had a 1980s Judas priest style gay. Not this sailor moon sissy shit.
Jaxon Ortiz
Who hurt you bud?
Tyler Bailey
S1 can be watched as a self contained story. watch that and leave the rest.
Their relationships definitely affect the plot you fucking psychopath retard. Mike and eleven "broke up", resulting in eleven hanging out with max. While hanging out with max (only happening because of the breakup), eleven and max decide it would be fun to spy on max's brother with eleven power. While spying on the brother, eleven discovers that billy is in trouble and THIS PROGRESSES THE PLOT FORWARD BY MAKING ELEVEN AND MAX GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WRONG WITH BILLY YOU FUCKING RETARD. None of this would have happened if mike and eleven didn't have their relationship. You're objectively wrong dude. Admit it, admit that a relationship on the show progressed the plot. Even in front of evidence, you will lie you fucking mong.
Aiden Price
are you ok?
Isaiah Gray
Once he finds a girl it will be all the more satisfying, they rather delay it to milk more episodes out.
Blake Gray
Do they realize the show is set in the 80s? Pretending to be a lesbian for attention wasn't even a thing yet.
Ian Bennett
Hey fuckers your little show sucks
Owen Gutierrez
Its obvious one of the producers didnt want anyone else touching his little fuck toy
Jason Martin
>Do they realize the show is set in the 80s? Pretending to be a lesbian for attention wasn't even a thing yet. Yeah, but the people watching the show live in 2019 and expect to see 2019 values represented which is retarded.
Bentley Torres
Stupid fucks should have stuck with the original character descriptions from 'Montauk'
To be honest, after the outrage following that forced kiss, Sadie and Chris barely interact in season 3.
Blake Martin
Yeah it was pretty obvious that was changed mid way through production. You'd have to be a complete retard not to see it
Eli Phillips
Yes, it's good. But it's also popular, which means Yea Forums hates it. Don't ever listen to Yea Forums when it comes to anything.
Robert Campbell
quico quico rrrrrá rrrrrá rrrrrrá gentalha gentalha ele me deixa louco
Aaron Phillips
I just realized the Duffer brothers were born in 1985. Those fuckers didn't even grow up in the 80s! No wonder the show is fucked, they're literally relying on 80s movies instead of any actual experience with the decade.
Easton Kelly
We all know (((who))) is responsible for this.
Jayden Bennett
why would they choose a child actress that looks like a 35 year old then?
Jaxon Torres
Dirty Knees what the fuck?
Ian Reyes
It was a pretty shit move and just felt like they wanted to (((subvert))) expectations.
Ayden Miller
why would i listen to you
Blake Price
S1>S3>>>S2 Definitely watch season one. It's very good, and it stands on its own. I'd also recommend watching season 2 to get to season 3, but if you can't make it through, it's fine to just skim and read a plot summary. Also, skip the episode where 11 goes to the city in season 2. It's pointless and has no connection to anything else in the show
Gavin Wood
>that dead expression say it aint so ;_;
Alexander Morris
I remember season 1 as being quite good, though it falls off a fair bit in the second and third ones.
Joshua Ross
If you skip that episode you won't know where Eleven got her new outfit though.
Austin Young
So the boondock saints' kid ruined the show? Shame on her and her family,
Juan Bennett
I was gonna make them a couple but then I checked twitter and was reminded trump was president so I made her gay
Andrew Hall
Yeah it’s strange that they didn’t make him gay considering Finn who’s about the same age as played 2 (ambiguously) gay characters by now Sup
My fucking comment on reddit got 100 downvotes because I said it felt forced how all of a sudden their romance is squelched because she is now gay, out of nowhere.
This makes a whole lot of sense now.
Liam Brown
it was weird to make her gay after the scene where she talks about staring at him in class and not noticing her
it clearly seemed as though she had a deep crush on him
Jose Richardson
Congratulations on embarrassing yourself even further on Yea Forums.
Jonathan Watson
Where is the 2nd gay role?
Andrew Ross
>Stephen King personally added a new Reddie scene by his own request Based
would you be freidns with a qt lesbian if you knew you were never ever ever gonna fuck her?
Adrian Butler
I was thinking this, that bit at the end of the finale where she looks at him, smiles, and then says they’re just friends but doesn't look too sure kinda suggests she’s bi and is actually interested
Jacob Hughes
lmao no wonder its shitm it's a shame since season 1 was pure kino
Lincoln Campbell
I could see this. Her and Steve barely escape another dangerous situation. In excitement and relief she kisses him and he gets confused "But I thought you liked (chick classmatres name)" "Maybe I like guys too.." as she pulls him into the next room "I still have her number your know if you wanna" "Shut up" door closes scene ends.
Blake Bennett
Of course not, half of them were pedosexuals.
Elijah Nelson
s1 is good. stop after that,.
Jose Green
See:
Dominic Roberts
The first season is quite good and nice and self contained. Season 2 is more of the same but with the added downside of the children becoming annoying cunts and I dropped it after 5 episodes.
Easton Campbell
Ye
Jonathan Jackson
Who cares. This show is trash.
Jayden Carter
feels like they try to justified them just being friend and gain a diversity point
Samuel Wright
so steve can't have a SINGLE on-screen romance with the 1 character he actually has chemistry with?
2019 was a mistake
Justin Perez
that tiny glimpse of her butcheek feels so dangerous
Gavin Sanders
theres plenty of pictures of her at the beach in a bathing suit and others that show more
Thomas Robinson
Season one is great it was clear the show was meant to end there.
Bentley Harris
one of the duffers literally fucks her in the ass regularly
Liam Hughes
Dark >>> Stranger Things
Noah Mitchell
That’s literally every network television series ever.
John Harris
I guarantee even the problem glasses crowd would've been raving about the "ship" if that's the content they were given. King Steve being humbled and falling for the outcast that was in the blindspot of his social status? They would've eaten it right the fuck up. Instead we got last-minute tokenism that they literally weren't even accounting for during writing and filming.
Christian Green
Season 1 is great Season 2 is okay (aside from one bad episode) Season 2 is good
Don't expect a masterpiece of kino, but it's a solid enjoyable show.
Jeremiah Parker
Season 3* is good
Asher Butler
And this could also bring in a scene where his parents blame heavy metal music for making their son gay. What could have been.
John Gray
honk honk
Lincoln Watson
Wtf was that product placement in season 3? Don’t remember it being that bad in previous seasons
Season 3 just felt a lot less serious than previous seasons. In 1 you can genuinely see and feel joyce’s desperation and grief, in season 2 the whole will being possessed aspect is genuinely quite unnerving, and then in season 3 you have teenagers making jokes during a Russian interrogation and a fucking singalong in the middle of the climax. It was never that silly before. The tone just felt completely off.
Brody Jackson
What is this about a forced kiss?
Carson Campbell
you also have the adults just become complete caricatures.
Anthony Walker
The scene in is a perfect example. This conversation took place while arguably the main character was injured and they were worried for her health. It’s ridiculous
Colton Bennett
Girls are nice friends
Nathan Smith
It referenced something relevant to the time, but at a bad time. But also they're just kids.
Tyler Lee
>we You mean the Jews involved in the production mentioned it and you went along with it so as not to ruffle any feathers.
