He doesn't. He loves Bruce Lee. The portrayal of Lee in OUaTiH was based off of the extensive research Tarantino did on the character. In specific cases, Lee was considered an arrogant person who was full of himself (and why wouldn't he). The only thing is, he COULD back up the talk. It was brave of Tarantino to show a side of Bruce Lee that many people never saw. He was humanized the the film, instead of once again making him look like this larger than life figure who was seen as perfect. That's not an insult to him or his legacy.

This, I'm tired of all the nonsense talked about Bruce Lee like if he was some type of God. He was just a guy with a lot of charisma, a good? actor and martial artist who created a new type of martial art and studied philosophy. That was so famous because he was the first Asian superstar in Hollywood. He was great in all of that but he wasn't some type of invincible man and Plato.

Also he became so so legendary just because he died young. Those who die young become bigger legends that they were in live.
