1. It would be bad storytelling, considering that it's what happened to Starlight. We've already seen a version of that story play out on the show, so it's boring.

2. It would mean that the entire Homelander story from the comic is fucked, and that's one of the best parts of The Boys. The Black Noir reveal brings everything together in a really great way, and replacing that with a story that basically treads the same ground as Starlight's story would be pointless.
