nonsense. It would be possible to make a good film out of berserk. Golden Age arc is a good story for a ~3 hour film.

It's just highly unlikely that they would do it justice and that it would be good, but that's the same for every film, most films are terrible. Making a good film is incredibly difficult no matter what it's about. And whether or not the characters looked right or it was 'accurate' enough wouldn't matter at all.

I can visualize the whole Golden Age arc adapted to live action perfectly. Can you give a single example scene that is not adaptable?

I think the problem is that to do the bulk of the story with all the warfare and the worldbuilding justice, it would need an extremely high budget. And to do the climax justice, and really all of it, it would need to be R18 and with narrow cult appeal to basically just men who like extremely dark violent films. So it's not really viable.

In my perfect world, the Eclipse wouldn't ever be mentioned in any marketing and it would be sold as another LotR, specifically so you could catch the normie audience then spring the Eclipse on them with minimal warning.

I feel like an Amazon Prime series would be the closest we can get to making it happen.
